And in complete opposition to my plan a minute ago of cutting her out and casting her away so I don’t fall into a new addiction.

I grit my teeth as I slowly swipe through the shots, drinking in the creaminess of her skin. The awkward and yet enticing smiles she’s trying to flash for herself. The way the bikinis hug her tits and that ass.

“What?” She finally blurts, a little trepidation in her tone since I still haven’t said a thing.

I just smile as my eyes land on the last shot from the changing room photoshoot—this one of her in lacy pink lingerie instead of a bikini. Which is even better.

Or possibly worse.

“Hello? Your highness?” She snaps thinly.

My eyes slowly raise over the phone to see her glaring at me.

“Well? Ready to apologize yet?”

“For?”

“Assuming you know shit about me or my taste in music?”

I shrug.

“Sure. I don’t care. I stopped looking at your playlists two minutes ago.”

Her brow furrows.

“Then what the fuck are you looking at?”

I grin.

“You.”

Her jaw drops as I flip the phone around and show her what I’ve been devouring with my eyes. Melody’s face explodes with heat, her hand whipping up faster than I ever would have imagined, trying to snatch her phone back out of my hands.

Which I quickly yank up high, so that she can’t.

“Give me that!” She screams, her face bright red.

“This is a great look on you.”

“Give me my fucking phone back, you fucking creep!”

My smug grin fades to a scowl as my eyes narrow at her.

“Don’t think for a second I didn’t see the pictures you took of my basement, or my living room, or my patio,” I smile thinly at her. “You fucking creep,” I mimic the urgency and high tones of her voice from seconds ago.

“This is not an interview,” I hiss thinly. “This isnota fucking photoshoot. This is notanything, except an invasion of my goddamn privacy.”

I shove the phone back into her hands. She takes it, shaking a little.

“Okay, okay. I’m sorry. It wasn’t for the article, I was just…it’s a nice view.”

“You got a thing for laundry detergent?”

“No, it’s just…I don’t even know why I took that picture.”

“Then you’ll have no trouble deleting it.” My eyes narrow. “Now.”

Melody wets her lips, swallowing as her eyes meet mine. She nods, dropping her gaze back to her phone and tapping the screen.
