Bone gave her a big hug, stepping outside the auditorium with her.

“I’ll be a little while, but I’ll come and get you for lunch,” he smiled. He kissed her sweetly, and she leaned into him. He watched her carefully as she lifted her arms around his neck, then gave him a passionate kiss, her tongue lingering inside his mouth. Gripping her hips, he held her there, not wanting to frighten her with the growing bulge of his cock.

“I hope that was okay,” she blushed.

“Baby, that will always be okay with me. I just don’t want to rush you,” he said, gently touching her face.

“I want to know what being loved is like, Ty. I want to feel loved, and I think you make me feel that.”

“Londyn, honey, I do love you. Don’t you know that? I was falling in love with you weeks ago, and I’ve only fallen head over heels this last week.” She smiled up at him, shaking her head.

“I’m very glad, Mr. O’Neal, because I’m head over heels for you too.” She kissed him again and walked down the hall and out the door toward the cafeteria.

He shot a message to his mother and a few other women, hoping they would keep her company until lunch. Then turning to go back inside the auditorium, he opened the doors to see a hundred men making kissy faces and sounds, giving big, dreamy expressions to him. He could only chuckle, shaking his head.

“Sometimes, I hate you all.”

CHAPTER FOURTEEN

Londyn walked toward the gardens, already inhaling the heavenly scents of summer. Everything was in full bloom, the smells of magnolia, jasmine, and azalea floating in the air. The moss hung lazily from the cypress trees, the thick smell of wet earth and live oak hanging over the entire property.

Everything was lush and green, making it look like Eden. She felt a sudden rush of emotion in her chest from retelling the details of her attack. She covered her mouth and hurried into the gardens, thinking she’d found a quiet place to hide for a little while. She should have known at Belle Fleur, you’re never alone.

“Oh, honey, what’s wrong?” asked Tinley, sitting beside the young woman. She wrapped a warm motherly hug around her shoulders, patting her gently.

“Oh, Mrs. O’Neal, I’m so sorry,” she said, shaking her head.

“You have nothing to be sorry for, and it’s just Tinley. Are you alright? Did something happen?” Londyn looked up to see Winter, Rachelle, Grace, Cait, and a few other women.

“I met with the team this morning, and they asked me to retell the details of my attack. I was fine while I was in there, then I walked out here, and suddenly, it was overwhelming. It was as if everything came crashing down around me, and I couldn’t breathe. I don’t know what happened,” she said, shaking her head, sniffing back the tears.

“Honey, it is overwhelming. It’s only been a little more than a week. This is going to take time, and you need to allow yourself these moments of grief and sadness,” said Tinley.

“She’s right, sweetie,” said Rachelle. “You’re going to feel completely overwhelmed at moments, and then the next moment, you’re going to feel happiness and joy. It’s all normal. Did you speak to Bone about this?”

“No,” she said, shaking her head. “I kissed him, and it was wonderful.” She laughed, and the women all smiled at her.

“Well, that’s good to know,” grinned Tinley. “But, if it was wonderful, why are you crying?”

“How can I do this to him?” she asked, staring at the women.

“What do you mean?” asked Winter.

“How can I strap him with my horrible history? How will he be able to look at me and not think about what those men did to me? What if I can’t allow him to touch me?” Winter and Cait looked at one another, then kneeled in front of her.

“Londyn, what happened to you was horrible. What happened to Cait, Rachelle, Grace, and me was horrible. But these men are very special men. They would never blame a woman for an attack on herself. It took me a while to realize how very different these men are and that they were nothing like the men who’d abused me. They are a breed of men unlike any other on earth. I wish every woman could have an RP man in her life,” said Winter.

“I never believed a man could touch me. I didn’t want a man to touch me. But Hiro, he wouldn’t give up on me. He was so incredibly patient and kind. He kept his distance, talking softly to me, involving me in things that I wanted to run from. He let me control the speed of everything. I would have died without that man, Londyn. I would have panicked and run, and most likely, I would have run straight into the hell that brought me here.” Cait nodded.

“I agree with Winter. Axel was so patient with me. Corey and I lived with him for weeks before he even held my hand or kissed me. He knew I needed space and time, and he gave it to me. When I was ready, he was more than willing to allow me to control the room.”

“All these men are special, Londyn,” said Grace. “Each of them. When you’re ready to be intimate with Ty, he’ll know what to do and let you control the situation.”

Londyn didn’t say anything, just staring at the other women. She stood, pacing back and forth, then stopped to look at them.

“I-I wasn’t a virgin. But I’d only been with two men. I was, I am inexperienced. I’m not sure how you make love to a man the right way. My experiences were a clunky, awkward college guy my sophomore year and another dental student who was more mechanical than my computer.”

“Honey, there are lots of ways to make love to a man,” grinned Tinley. “I think you should read Charlie’s books, but I also think you should speak to some of us. Maybe talk to Riley and Gray.”
