She moves her hand and presses her lips to mine. After a minute, she pulls away and says, “I’ve been dying for you.”

I pull out a condom and roll it on while she pulls off her panties. I slide my hands up her thighs until I reach her bare ass. Her lips are on mine again, her hands in fists, clutching my shirt tight. She jumps up and wraps her legs around my waist.

Her back is pressed against the door as I slide inside. She groans loudly. “Declan, god.”

“Tell me you want me,” I say as I thrust into her. Her body slides up against the door and back down again.

“God, I want you more than anything,” she moans.

“More than anyone?” I say, crashing into her again.

She hesitates.

“Do you, Maggie?”

She doesn’t answer and I continue to crash into her, banging her up against the door. My movements are growing desperate and sloppy with each thrust.

“Yes,” she finally says. “Yes, I want you more – more than anyone.”

Her words send me right over the edge – blinding me until I release inside her. I feel her body quiver around me.

She gasps and moans, “Fuck god fuck.”

I smile. “That’s my girl.”

I pull out and set her down. She slumps against the door. “Buttercup, can you walk?”

She shakes her head. I laugh and pick her up and carry her over to the bed.

Maggie and Declan Text Thread

Maggie: You know how in Casablanca they say “We’ll always have Paris”?

Declan: Never seen it, but I’ve heard the expression.

Maggie: You’ve never seen it?

Declan: No.

Maggie: We’re going to have to watch it sometime.

Declan: Okay. But what about we’ll always have Paris?

Maggie: I was thinking for us it will be we’ll always have Milwaukee.

Declan: (dead emoji)

Maggie: (covering eyes emoji)

Declan: We’ve got to fix that, right?

Maggie: No offense to Milwaukee, but yes.

Declan: Come to Paris with me.

Maggie: What?

Declan: Yeah. Let’s do it.
