I started to laugh.

“What’s so funny?” Seb growled at me.

“It does sound a little weird,” I said.

“You call me Seb.”

“I don’t call youUncleSeb,” I said.

“Only in the bedroom, huh?” Rome asked.

At the same time Seb and I looked at Rome.

He threw his hands up. “Whoa. Okay. Touchy subject.”

“Non-existent subject,” Seb said.

“Tension,” Jago whispered to Henry.

Seb turned and handed the baby back to Atlas.

Atlas kissed the baby’s forehead.

The baby wiggled a little.

“You probably look like a monster to her,” Hazel said.

“No way,” Atlas said. “She knows who I am. Now can we leave? Take our daughter home?”

“Don’t we get to hold her too?” Rome asked.

“No,” Atlas said in a defiant voice.

“Wow,” Jago said. “The boss of the team does and nobody else. I see how it is.”

“The boss of the team?” I asked.

“Don’t listen to them,” Seb said.

“You’re the leader,” Atlas said.

“Go home,” Seb said. “All of you. Enjoy the off-season.”

“I’m not going home,” Rome said. “I’m taking April out on a lovely date.”

He reached for my hand and I pulled away. “I’m busy.”

“Plans with Sebastian?” Rome asked.

“Ignore him,” Seb said to me. “Rome likes to cry and flirt.”

“Not in that order either,” Rome said.

“Come on, we’re out of here,” Joe said, pushing at Rome.

“Let’s go, Jago, I’ll buy you a beer,” Henry said, putting an arm around Jago.

“What about me?” Seb asked. “I’m just getting ditched?”
