“What?” April asked.
I smiled.“Now it’s my turn to pick a hot date for you.”
Chapter Twenty
APRIL
Aurora broughtme tea that I would not drink.
She said it would calm my energy.
She touched my shoulder and smiled.
“What is it?” I asked.
Am I playing into this?
“You’re tense,” Aurora said. “In a good way. If I may say so… it’s sexual tension.”
Aurora walked away.
Sabrina stared at me. “She’s good at that.”
“Good at what?”
“Knowing things like that. Sensing things.” Sabrina leaned closer to the table. “Want to talk about it?”
“There’s nothing to talk about.”
“Oh, come on, April. I know I’m always about all work, but we have to talk about this stuff. I love sex. I love everything about it. The thought. The buildup. The tension. The flirting. There are so many ways to have sex, you know?”
“There are?” I asked.
Stop it, April. What are you doing?
“Yes!” Sabrina cried out. “There’s the slow and sensual sex. You take your time and explore. Then there’s the feral urges. The instinctive desire tofuck.”
“Got it,” I said. “We should talk about this…”
I put my hand on the printed pages of a marketing campaign that was sure to fail.
Sabrina paid a lot of money to have the company I worked for give her advice on her products, yet she went out to other companies to have marketing campaigns made. On her direction.
This one included a commercial or video of Sabrina walking through a field.
And when she grew hungry, she would pluck food from the ground. Or food from a tree.
And guess what she plucked?
Her health bars.
“I guess we just work then,” Sabrina said. “But it’s all ready for you. What do you think about it? When do we attack?”
“You know, I’ve never really asked about your distribution plan,” I said. “Your shipping? Warehouse?”
“You’re looking at it!” Sabrina said. “Aurora and I are ready to go.”
“Yourselves?”
