His thumbs pressed harder.
I looked down and took a deep breath.
“You’re tense, April,” he whispered.
“Am I?” I asked, trying to sound surprised.
“Relax,” he said. “Take a deep breath and relax. You have too much on your mind.”
“Oh, advice from Seb. Just what I need.”
Seb laughed and massaged my shoulders some more.
I closed my eyes.
He gently moved up to my neck for a few seconds and then down to my back.
“Shit, April, you’re really tense,” he said. “Your hands are white knuckled on the bed. Are you okay?”
“Yeah,” I said. I released my grip on the bed. “Sorry. Just… yeah. I’m fine. I can’t believe I just took a shower with you. You know?”
“Plenty more of those to take, babe,” he said.
I nodded.
I slowly opened my eyes.
I stared at my feet as they dangled off the bed, unable to touch the floor.
Seb moved and put his legs around my body.
His feet easily touched the floor.
Big, strong feet.
Ugly man feet that were yet somehow super sexy.
He continued to massage my back and shoulders.
I felt safe near him. With him.
Safe with his hands on my body.
Safe with his lips kissing anywhere he pleased.
Seb was a sense of home for me.
I never wanted to leave him. Or leave this place. Or leave whatever this was turning into.
Tears filled my eyes.
I swallowed hard.
Seb kept touching me.
Another perfect moment to fall in love with Seb just one more time…
