Not to mention it was Seb.

My Sebby.

Which of course led to my very enjoyable alone time on the couch.

I walked back to the balcony and tossed Seb the health bar.

He checked the ingredients too.

Then he opened it.

He stared at me.

“I know,” I said. “The shape of it…”

“This one looks like a turd.”

“A turd,” I said. I rolled my eyes.

“What? Want me to use a different word?Poop?”

“Just take a bite.”

Seb groaned and took a bite of the health bar.

He chewed a few times and looked at me.

“What?”

He slowly stood up and walked to the railing.

He spit the bite he took over the balcony.

“Seb,” I said.

He wiped his mouth. “I’d prefer the allergic reaction.”

“Seriously?”

“I think you should ditch this client, April,” he said.

“What?”

“I’m serious,” he said. “You cannot try to sell this stuff. Even if you were able to pull it off, nobody is going to like it. It’s going to blow up in your face. These are horrible.”

“Wow, Seb. Thanks. Why not just tell me the truth?”

“You asked.”

“I didn’t ask for that. I asked you to try another flavor.”

“And I did. It’s bad. As bad as the other one that almost killed me.”

“It did not almost kill you!” I yelled.

“What are you really doing here? It cannot be for this.”

Seb shook the health bar in my face.
