I began to shake a little.
I rocked my shoulder up and down.
“April, come on, wake up.”
“You come first,” I whispered.
“Wow,Auggie.”
Hearing that name, my eyes popped open.
I looked up at a shirtless Seb staring down at me.
“Seb,” I said.
“What are you doing out here?”
“I’m sleeping.”
“Come back inside.”
“Why? Is there some ocean monster that eats people in the middle of the night?”
“No,” he said. “I don’t like you sleeping out here. What if you sleepwalk and fall?”
He’s worried about me.
That’s so sweet.
I nodded. “Okay. Yeah.”
“Did you sleepwalk to get out here?” Seb asked.
“No,” I said as I began to stand up. “I just needed to think for a minute. And I guess I dozed off.”
As I stood in front of Seb, I noticed an odd look on his face.
His eyes moved for a split second.
I looked down at myself and gasped.
And of course I froze.
The cool -cold for me- air madethingshappen to me.
In other words, my nipples were rock hard.
Showing through everything with ease.
Seb grabbed the blanket and wrapped it around me.
His rock hard chest inches from my face.
From my mouth.
My tongue tingling… for a taste…
I smelled his skin.
