“If Theo is a neat freak, why does he host all the parties?” I ask as Alex leads me toward Theo and Emmie’s front door on the floor above our flat.

Our flat…

What is this life?

It’s been two weeks since he asked me to move in with him in his shower. Two weeks of laughter and happiness and more pleasure than I thought existed.

I can’t help the wide smile that spreads across my lips as I think about our time together.

Every day, at least one of us has dropped in to see Zay. And while he might not be getting over his ordeal as fast as Alex seems to be, every time I look into his eyes, I see a little more of the happy-go-lucky boy I know and love.

One day last week, Blake and I sat down with him to discuss what he wants to do in September, and unsurprisingly, the second she mentioned the possibility of attending Knight’s Ridge with Atlas, he jumped at the chance.

I can’t really blame him. His and Atlas’s friendship is getting stronger by the day, and quite frankly, who actually wants to go to Lovell Academy? We sure didn’t.

He’s already nagging us to go uniform shopping, something that Stefanos has agreed to help with, seeing as the cost of everything he’s going to need is almost as expensive as the tuition.

Accepting all this help doesn’t sit easy with either of us, but at the same time, we figured it’s okay to let those who care about us help. And Stefanos sure seems to have a soft spot for our little brother.

Although, I’m pretty sure it’s not just Zay who’s stolen his attention. Blakely somehow manages to deflect the conversation every time I try and bring it up. But I see the way her body language changes when he walks into the room. And I sure as shit notice the way he watches her when he thinks no one is paying attention.

I know Alex has warned his father multiple times to stay away from her, but honestly, would it really be such a bad thing? He seems like a decent guy, and he’s treating Zay as if he’s his own. Both of them could do a hell of a lot worse than Stefanos. I’ll leave whatever is going on under that roof to them. I’ve had more than enough drama to deal with myself. I’m happily enjoying my easy life with my incredible boyfriend.

“It’s the biggest,” Alex says simply, reminding me that I asked him a question.

“Of course.”

Tonight, we’re celebrating. And not just that the last single guy in their friendship group finally has a girl, but everyone has finished their exams.

Stella, Emmie, and Brianna still have a couple of weeks of classes left, but the stress of uni and what happens next is over for a while. The results are out of everyone’s hands now. We just have to wait for fate to decide our futures at the end of the summer.

“You ready for this?” Alex asks with a laugh.

“I really, really don’t think I am. What happened the last time you guys partied?”

“Well, last time we were in Nico’s place, and I left on my search for you. The last one in Theo’s was probably the night I also found you.”

“After hooking up with Ant?” I ask with a teasing smirk.

“You’re never going to let me forget that, are you?” he asks, rolling his eyes.

“Why the hell would I want to forget it? It’s hot as hell.”

“Vixen,” he growls, pulling me in front of him and nuzzling my neck. “You’re wicked.”

“You won’t be complaining later when you’re reaping the benefits.”

“I sure as hell wasn’t an hour ago in the shower, either. Can’t get enough of you, baby.”

“The feeling is entirely mutual,” I confess.

As we close in on the door, the music filters down to us.

“Sounds like the party has already started.”

“You have met Stella and Emmie, right? The party will have started the second they got out of class earlier.”

“And there’s something wrong with that?” I ask, looking back at him with a teasing smile.
