“I ran some fairly extensive tests, so I’m afraid the results won’t be ready for several hours,” Sylvan told her. “I’ll get in touch with you if I find anything strange or irregular.”
“Okay, thank you.” Seline sighed. “Can I get dressed and go now?”
“Absolutely.” Commander Sylvan nodded. “I hope this exam has helped put your mind at rest.”
Seline tried to smile and nod, but to be honest, she still felt really wrong inside. However, she didn’t feel comfortable telling a male doctor—even a really nice one like Commander Sylvan—the details.
How could she tell him she was throbbing between her legs and that her breasts felt heavy and strange, almost as though they were filling up with some kind of liquid? That was just too weird, she told herself. She couldn’t admit it to a male doctor—especially one who was her boss.
So she just smiled and thanked him and got dressed as soon as he left.

As she looked at them, the strangest thing happened—she couldn’t help picturing the two huge Kindred warriors as women. What is wrong with me? she wondered as she tried to push the strange images out of her head.
“Seline?” Kat’s eyes went wide with surprise. “Hey, doll—what are you doing here? I thought you left on your mission with Commander Nox?”
“I did…” Seline tried to think how to explain. Of course Kat was surprised to see her—it had been less than an hour since their meeting in Commander Sylvan’s office. “I, uh…it’s a long story but we have the completed Far Box now,” she said, shrugging.
“What? In less than an hour?” Kat exclaimed. “How did you manage that?”
“I don’t know, really,” Seline admitted. “Look, Kat—if you don’t mind, I really need to go lay down.”
“Oh of course—I’m so sorry.” Kat put a hand on her arm and looked at her anxiously. “Are you sure you’re all right?”
“According to the tests Commander Sylvan ran on me, I’m fine.” Seline tried to smile. “I’m just…really tired for some reason,” she added.
“Well, you’d better go back to your suite and take it easy, then,” Kat told her. “I’ll walk with you—just to be sure you get there all right.”
“Oh, Kat—you don’t have to do that!” Seline protested.
“Of course I do! I’m worried about you—let me just make sure you get home safely.” She looked at her two husbands—who Seline’s mind insisted would look good as women for some strange reason. “Hey guys, I’m going to walk Seline back to her suite. I’ll meet you at home, all right?”
The two Twin Kindred rumbled ascent and kissed her on either cheek before continuing down the corridor.
“All right now.” Kat linked arms with Seline and they began walking back towards Seline’s suite.
“It’s really nice of you to walk with me,” Seline told her. “But I’m fine, really.”
“Of course you are, but I wanted to talk to you anyway,” Kat said. “I wanted to let you in on a little secret—Lock and Deep and I have decided to go to a club next weekend.”
“A club?” Seline asked. “What kind of club?”
“What kind do you think? The kind you’ve been wanting to visit!” Kat nudged her playfully with an elbow. “It’s called ‘The Whip’ and it’s down in Ybor City. You know—the historic part of Tampa?”
“So…it’s a fetish club?” Seline asked.
“Yes, it is.” Kat grinned. “We’re all going to dress up—I’m making us the most amazing leather outfits on my replicator! Deep is going to be the Dom and Lock and I are going to be his subs. What do you think?”
“I think that sounds hot!” Seline felt a stir of excitement. An image flashed into her mind—she could suddenly see herself tied to a whipping post. She was naked, with her arms stretched over her head and Nox was spanking her with a riding crop, making her moan and gasp with every stinging blow.
She frowned—where had that image come from? It was so detailed—so vivid—it almost seemed more like a memory than a fantasy.
