“Watch it, asshole,” Sam warned. “There are no cameras in here to keep us on our best behavior.”

“Jeez, man!” he whined. “Jezuz. Okay, easy. You already won this round, dude. Yay. Lock me up, set my bail, and I’ll be on my way in a few months.” The guy was delusional.

“What are you smokin’, man? ‘Cause I gotta tell you.” Dean came around and sat his ass right next to his face. “Once we throw your worthless piece of shit ass in the deepest hole we can find, you’re never getting out. We got you cold on this.”

“You got shit on this,” Grungy snarled, clearly rattled but not ready to admit defeat. “I told you I didn’t know nothin’ ‘bout no other girls.”

“The two we have are alive and thriving, my man,” Dean told him as though delivering joyful news. “They are going to be able to finger your asshole all the way up to a lifetime in prison.”

It was clear he hadn’t thought of that, and all his bravado vanished. A cobra sat before him now, not a cackle or sneer in sight. Then one shoulder lifted as if shrugging the worry off for another day. “I’ll find a way out before it even gets to trial. Then none of them bitches will ever talk again. You might want to tell them I said that. Make sure they sleep real good at night knowin’ that.”

“Nice theatrics.” Dean pulled down the sides of his mouth, considering.

“Yeah, I like the Edward Norton inPrimal Fearpersonality shift thing he did there,” Sam said with good humor. “Did you catch that bit?”

“Yeah, I did catch that,” Dean replied, ignoring the simmering pot of fury about to boil over in front of him. “But, dude? Come on. You don’t have to say Edward Norton inPrimal Fearlike that. You could’ve just saidPrimal Fear. And then you went and muddied the reference even more by pointing out the moment in the movie. It’s too much.”

“If you two are done jerkin’ each other off, I’d like to get the fuck outta these chains. And would you mind gettin’ yer dick away from my face? I don’t like boys that way.”

Dean smiled down at him.

“But yer sure a pretty boy. I could be tempted ta switch fer a night or two. I’d love to make you bleed.”

Dean only raised his eyebrows while Sammy laughed. “Well,” he said into the man’s stony face, “thank you. It’s nice to know I have options.” He pulled another photo from the folder and shoved it into Grungy’s face. “Leviathan’s dead, you piece of shit. Do you see this? Shot right between the eyes and left like garbage beside the piece-of-shit truck of his. The other women, asshole. Who else is working with you, and where are the other women?”

“I want my lawyer.” And then he started cackling again as he stared at the picture of his dead friend.

CHAPTEREIGHTEEN

TWO WEEKS LATER

Sam and Deanfollowed Cas as he made his way to his office. The man looked like an exploding briefcase again, and this time he loaded the two of them up like pack mules as well.

“Your Mr. Grunge still isn’t giving up his name,” Cas grumbled. “No prints in the system, can’t find anything that tells us who the son of a bitch is. We’ll get there though. Either way, at least the son of a bitch is off the streets. He’ll crack eventually.

“Meanwhile, we’ve gotta get you guys back in that club,” he told them and shook his head at their nonexistent arguments. “The fire was enough to close the place up for a while, since someone conveniently shot Leviathan for us. But we keep the club down any longer and we’re gonna have a lawsuit on our hands. How’s Kimberly? She ready for round two?”

Both he and Sammy managed to hold their silence, but it wasn’t easy.

As much as they all hated it, Kimberly was in this for the long haul. With Leviathan dead and his accomplice confined with no outside contact, all of their covers were still intact. If they showed up without their brand-new sub right after everything went down, it would run the risk of sending the rest of the ring scattering.

Surprisingly, Kimberly was the least reluctant about the situation. She’d spent the last weeks at their place, with Shawna tucked up in one of the guest rooms. It hadn’t taken much convincing on their part to get her to move in. Kimberly was as in love with them as they were with her and she seemed just as willing to see how far they’d go together as the two of them were. Every night, Kimberly would start snuggled between him and Sam, but before dawn, Shawna’s terrified screams would send Kimberly rushing to her room. The two would spend the remainder of the night holding each other until the sun rose.

Kimberly wasn’t going to rest now until the other women were found too.

Didn’t mean it didn’t scare the shit out of them all though.

“She’s ready,” Sam told him after Cas stopped to look back, concern not impatience in his raised brow expression.

“You sure? You don’t sound sure.”

“She’s fine,” Dean admitted reluctantly. “We’re the ones still having trouble with it.”

Cas wrinkled up his face in another of his hound-dog looks and rolled his eyes. “Look, I get that.” Then he turned and kept walking. They followed. “I don’t like this any more than you, and we already went ten rounds over it, okay? So, let’s all agree that the situation sucks, and we’re gonna find a way to pull her out as soon as possible and move on from here. Please?” He stopped at his door and turned to face them with his stupid puppy smile. “In fact, I’ve already lined up a new sub for you,” he announced like it was Christmas and opened his door without looking back. “Gentlemen, I’d like you to meet agent Michiko Tanaka, from our San Francisco office.

A beautiful Asian woman was seated on one corner of Cas’s desk in a white and blue mini dress. She had over-the-knee, white, spike-heeled boots on and a blonde wig with two high pigtails that flowed down her body and pooled on the wood next to her slender hips.

Dean just stood there with his mouth hanging open. He was lucky; Sam had just taken a drink and was choking on his coffee.

“Cas?” Dean croaked. “Why is Sailor Moon sitting on your desk?”
