I can feel Grey eyeing me, probably not sure if I’m serious or not. But I am so serious. I’ll even use tongue.

Hell yeah, I’d so tongue fuck him. My dick is already throbbing just thinking about it, and I shift to try and get comfortable.

Down boy, maybe later.

Yes, hopefully later.

“So, when did you and Robert meet?” I ask, knowing this will probably do the trick. Robert does nothing for me, even in those tiny shorts he was wearing. I have eyes for Grey and Grey only.

“Uh, a few years back,” he says, his eyes still on the road. “Met at the grocery store.”

“Huh,” I say as I trace his forefinger with my thumb and resist the urge to pull it into my mouth. I’d suck on it.

Fuck, I want to suck on it.

“And why did you two break up?” I ask, pulling my thoughts away.

“Uh, yeah, we just didn’t work.”

“Sex wasn’t good?” I ask, and he shrugs.

“It was fine.”

Well, what the fuck doesthatmean?

“I shouldn’t be discussing this with you,” he says. “Should probably stop holding your hand too,” he adds in as an afterthought.

I hold on tighter. I’m not ready for him to let go.

“Don’t make it a big deal,” I say. “It’s not a big deal. And look, I’m not some virgin, okay? I’ve had sex. Loads of it.”

Grey peeks over at me. “You’re only nineteen.”

“Yeah, so?”

He’s working that one out. Look, yeah, maybe I am young, but when you have parents like mine, you’re fucking by the time you’re old enough to know how a dick works.

I mean, seriously, I had almost no supervision growing up. Their idea of a sex talk was handing me condoms and telling me to be careful.

So I was, Iam.

I had to grow up faster than most kids. I always had to learn the hard way. They weren’t bad parents, but there were times I wished I had someone who cared for me enough to give a shit about what I was doing and who I was with.

I wish I had a dad like Grey. Maybe that’s why I’m so attracted to him.

His calm, steadfast demeanor just calls to me on a molecular level.

And he’s fucking hot. The hottest man I’ve seen in real life.

I never stood a chance.

“Here we are,” Grey says a moment later, his hand slipping from mine as he parks the truck. I feel his absence palpably. But I shake it off. He agreed to my asinine plan, so I’m going to try and be cool about it. I never thought Grey would even let me touch him like that, so I count it as a win.

I hop out of Grey’s truck as Robert rounds the front of his Jeep, making his way straight toward us. The parrot is absent from his shoulder and my eyes narrow.

“Where’s the bird?” I ask, and Robert thumbs over his shoulder

“In the Jeep. Don’t worry, I got the windows rolled down.”
