My wife truly is a sight to behold. Never in a million years did I think I’d need another person this badly. I know Alina and I didn’t have the most conventional of starts, but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. Because now she is mine and I am hers, and when I’m with her, I have everything I need.

She rises and falls, seeking her pleasure. Her moans are enough to shake the entire cabin. I’d gladly drown in the sounds she makes, basking in the brilliance of her smile until I no longer have the strength to do so.

“Pyotr, I’m gonna—I think I’m going to come.”

“Go ahead, my darling. Let me feel that tight pussy.”

Alina screams my name as she reaches her climax, her eyes screwing shut as wave after wave of ecstasy wracks her body. Her pussy clenches around me, gripping me tight. It’s almost enough to send me flying right after her, but I’m nowhere near done with her.

All it takes is a press of a button to make the seat I’m in recline. It’s not nearly as comfortable as a bed, but considering where we are, it’s the next best thing. I grip Alina tight against me and roll, switching our positions so I’m on top. She laughs softly as she reaches for me, cupping my face to drag me down for a kiss.

It’s my turn to set the pace, my hips snapping against her in search of that sweet friction. She takes me so well, our bodies intertwined like two pieces of a puzzle. I can’t remember what life was like without her. Did I ever truly know happiness until I found her?

“You feel so good, Alina. It’s like you were made for me.”

“Pyotr,” she whines my name. “Pyotr, I’m going to come again.”

I smile into our next kiss. It’s bruising and possessive, like it’s the only way we know how to exist. Before long, I feel her walls flutter around my shaft. Her breathing quickens and becomes shallow. The moan that rips from her lungs sends me spiraling after her.

In this moment, everything makes sense. Every decision I made, every step I took… it was all meant to lead me to her. Alina—my wife, the mother of my child, the only woman I’ve ever truly loved. She completes me in ways I didn’t think were possible. She keeps me grounded, brings a lightness to my life I didn’t know was missing.

We lie there together, curled up in each other’s arms, smiling and giggling like naughty school children.

“That was exhilarating,” she admits.

“If that’s the case, I’ve got good news.”

“Oh?”

“We have nine more hours until we arrive in New York.”

She beams at me, her smile so radiant it’s almost blinding. “I love the sound of that.”

Chapter 41

Alina

I’m so nervous I think I might be sick.

I fiddle with the hem of my dress. Adjust my hair. Take a deep breath. Then start all over again. I don’t know how Pyotr is able to stay so calm. He sits beside me, totally unfazed, as he scrolls through his phone and checks his various emails. Meanwhile, I feel like I’m about to fly out of my seat, leaving nothing but a gross puddle of sweat where I once was.

“Should we run over our practice questions again?” I ask under my breath.

Pyotr reaches up to adjust the volume on his hearing aid. “What did you say, lyubimaya?”

“I asked if we should go over our practice questions. You know, just to be sure?”

He chuckles softly, reaching over to take my hand. He threads his fingers between mine and squeezes lightly. “Relax, Alina. We’ve got this.”

“How can you be so sure?”

“Because I know you and you know me, and we love each other. There isn’t a thing I don’t know about you and vice versa. You have nothing to worry about, my love.”

I shift uncomfortably. “No, I know, but what if the interrogator gives us a trick question or something? What if I remember incorrectly? I don’t want to go back to Russia, Pyotr.”

He lifts my hand to his lips and kisses the back of my fingers. “If they deport you back to Moscow, then I’ll drop everything to be with you. We can live our lives there if we have to.”

My cheeks warm. “You’d really do that for me?”
