The need to come builds inside me again, but this time it fills me with a desperation I don’t think I’ve ever felt before. It builds and builds and builds, and when he pinches my clit, I go off like a firework exploding colors in the sky. Chase groans low in his chest, jerks into me a few more times, and holds himself there, emptying himself into the condom.

I drop forward onto the bed, completely spent. Chase falls beside me, resting his hand on my lower back as though he wants to maintain contact with me.

“I’ve never come that many times in one night,” I murmur into the comforter.

“The night is still young. We’re just getting started.” He rolls to his side so he’s looking at me.

I turn my head and open my eyes to look at him. “You’re trying to kill me.” I chuckle.

“What a way to go though, right?”

“The best.” My eyes drift closed of their own accord.

Chase picks me up and positions me with my head near the pillows. He pulls the blanket over me then walks around the bed and gets in on the other side, moving over enough so that he’s spooning me from behind.

He kisses the back of my head. “You go to sleep now. There will be plenty of time for more orgasms later.”

I mumble something in response, though I’m not sure what. I drift off into a contented sleep with professional football’s biggest, grumpiest player wrapped around me. Pure bliss.

Who would have thought that Chase Andrews was a cuddler?

I wake to a warm body pressed against my back, and this time I know it’s not Zeus because of the large arm draped over my waist. That, and the erection poking into my ass.

Smiling into my pillow, I relive last night in my head—the killer orgasms, how strong Chase is but how gentle he is at the same time, the way his eyes devoured me… and his mouth. I moan into my pillow, wanting more. No man has ever made me feel the way Chase has—in and out of the bedroom.

“If you keep making those noises, I’m not responsible for my actions.” Chase’s rough morning voice sounds from behind me, and I giggle.

“Is that right?” I wiggle my ass and his arm clamps down on my hip.

“Careful, sunshine. I’m getting ideas.”

“Good.”

Chase squeezes me into him tighter.

My gaze snags on the nightstand and I spot the book I dropped off for him to read for our little “book club,” the bookmark stuck nearly midway through the book.

“Shoot. Did I sleep on your side last night? All your stuff is over here.” I roll onto my back so I can see him.

He props himself up on his elbow and looks down at me. “I don’t care what side of my bed you sleep on, just as long as you’re in it.”

Stretching, I smile and pick up the copy of Everly Ashton’sHit or Missand open the book to see what part he’s at. “I can’t believe you’re actually reading this.” I look down at him.

“I said I would,” he says matter-of-factly.

“I know, but I wasn’t sure you really would once you started. A lot of guys think romance books are just for women.”

“They don’t know what they’re missing. I’m getting all kinds of good tips in that thing.” He chuckles.

I can’t control my grin. “Oh yeah, like what?”

Chase casts kisses on my neck. “Like the fact that women think and talk about sex almost as much as men.”

“Mmm, okay, what else?” I ask in a breathy voice.

He makes his way up to my earlobe and pinches it between his teeth. “And I know that women want to be wooed by the man pursuing them.”

“Well, I await my wooing.”
