Jess
"The dorm rooms are shitty," Veronica says, leaving Drury Hall after I changed out of my dress. She brought a change of clothes that her driver Thomas gave her.
"It is better than my room back home. It's actually nice."
"What kind of house did you have back home?" she asks, walking toward the church.
I clear my throat and squint my eyes a bit. "I didn't have a home. I lived in a trailer with my mom. It was just me and her growing up."
"Oh. I'm sorry. I didn't mean––"
I shrug my shoulders and interrupt her. "I'm not ashamed of it. I just hate when people judge me for it."
We make it to the church's doors, and she pulls it open. I'm surprised it's ten at night and still unlocked. When I walked inside the first time to pay my respects, I always thought the priest was sketchy. The younger one. The older one felt more genuine and a man that serves the church.
The smell of old wood and candles hits me all at once, and I try to picture the barista crucified on the cross, but I can't. I look at the pews and try to imagine Zero sitting at one of them, watching them commit their sins, but right now, it feels like a normal church.
"Come on," Veronica says, walking toward the back, where the priest's office is supposed to be.
When we reach the back room, I hear voices inside. I expect Veronica to knock like a normal person, but then I remember there is nothing normal about this woman.
The door swings open, banging against the wall. I can hear a female shriek and then blink a few times, trying to process what I'm witnessing. My mouth is hanging open like a nutcracker.
The priest is fucking the nun on the desk. Her habit is lifted, his cock is shoved inside her, and he is glaring at Veronica.
"Do you knock?" he asks with a hard edge to his voice.
"Do you pray? I thought that is what they hired you for when the real one wasn't here. Not to be fucking the nun that is supposed to be a virgin."

He shakes his head, and apprehension begins to set in when his expression tightens. Both are sinners and liars, but what should I have expected? The guy’s full of shit and doesn't know how to lock the door, let alone say a prayer. I can even overlook the fact he is balls deep in the nun.
