“Turns out the man who saved you was my brother Percy,” I continued, leading her to the cell where Jack lay on the bed, looking up at me with all kinds of murderous intent. “And he gave me this man to take care of. I’ve kept him prisoner since.”

He was shaking now, probably the blood draining from his veins and landing on the floor of the cell.
