“Exactly,” I murmur before pressing a sweet kiss to his lips. “That’s the Trig I know and love.”
We deepen our liplock, but break away when Hunter clears his throat behind us.
“Oh, did you want to join, Daddy?” I giggle coyly before reaching down to jiggle a big breast at him. “Don’t worry, there’s room for another.”
But the handsome man shakes his head, his cerulean eyes flaring with heat.
“No, as much as I’d like to. Actually, I have an announcement of my own to make. I’m sick of living my life in the shadows and I want to step into the light. I want the world to know that I’m dating you.Bothof you,” he emphasizes.
I gasp as Trig grunts.
“But I’m your stepdaughter,” I whisper.
“And I’m another man,” Trig growls in a low voice. “Are you sure you’re ready for that, my man?”
Hunter shrugs.
“Those are obstacles, certainly, but they’re not impossible to overcome. Anyways, I’m tired of pretending. I don’t want to hide my needs anymore, and I want the world to know that I’m involved with both a mananda woman,” he says in a simple tone. “We all have desires, and it’s only human. There’s no reason to be embarrassed, ashamed, or afraid.”
“I’m not embarrassed,” Trig says in a low tone. “Not at all, and I never have been. The bisexual stuff is new to me, but I’ve known for a while that it was a part of my mental and physical make-up.”
“I’m not embarrassed either,” I whisper as my cheeks go pink. “I mean, I’ve had a crush on you for a long time, Hunter, even if we’re technically family. Plus, what girl wouldn’t want to have two alpha males at her beck and call? It makes for good times,” I giggle.
“Then it’s settled,” Hunter growls, his expression approving. “We’ll make an announcement.”
At that, I cock my head at my stepfather.
“Yes, buthoware we going to go about it? I mean, don’t get me wrong because I think it’s the right thing to do and no one should feel ashamed. But were you thinking of making a proclamation of some sort, Hunter? The three of us have only been together for a week, so it’s a little soon, don’t you think?”
My stepfather gets a canny look in his eyes then.
“You’re right, itisa little soon, but I have a timeline in mind. You know I have my own law firm, right? We have a Christmas party each year, and I think I’d like to invite you and Trig as my dates, plural. For all the world to see.”
I stare at him.
“Are you sure? These are your employees, so it could be a little tricky.”
Hunter merely chuckles, his blue eyes gleaming.
“Exactly. They’re my employees, so who’s going to say a word to the boss? Their jobs are at stake, so I think we’ll enjoy their full support.”
“You’re such an asshole,” growls Trig. “But I like it.”
I nod as well, smiling sweetly.
“Well, Christmas is still a couple months out but it means I need to go dress-shopping because Ireallywant to knock their socks off.”
Hunter throws his head back and laughs then, showing off even white teeth. He’s so handsome that the breath catches in my throat, and I wonder what I’ve done to deserve such a wonderful man in my life. Trig too. My boyfriend’s heart-stoppingly gorgeous, and his open mind and willingness to experiment have made me the luckiest woman in the world. He and Hunter look at each other and nod with a deep understanding.
“Then it’s settled,” Hunter rasps in a low tone before taking my hand in his. His other hand goes to clasp Trig’s large palm and the three of us look into each other’s eyes. “We’ll enjoy ourselves and see what happens in the meantime. But if all goes well, I’m making my proclamation at Christmas, and taking the two of you with me on this adventure called life.”
I merely squeeze his hand before leaning forward to kiss Hunter, and then Trig.
“Yes, absolutely,” I whisper. “I look forward to it Daddy.”
Then, Hunter and Trig kiss as well, and sparks sizzle as their mouths fuse.
“We’re together,” Hunter rasps.
