“I’m gonna run and get us some breakfast,” Sloan said and got out of bed. I whined a bit and he returned to kiss me once more. “No cooking for any of us this morning. You want coffee, mate of mine?”

Goddess, the words I’d been dreaming of from his mouth made me shudder. “Yes, please. I’m gonna need all the coffee to keep up with you two and a toddler.”

Justice and I got out of bed and shared a shower. He insisted on washing my body from head to toe and even washed my hair. For all his gruffness, he was so gentle and caring. I returned the favor until we heard the front door shutting. Sloan came up and told us that breakfast was downstairs. He took his own shower.

I wrapped the towel around my body and leaned against the bed. Sloan was in a towel, brushing his teeth, and Justice was getting dressed.

“How does this work?” I breached the subject. I didn’t want a day or even another minute to go by without knowing the dos and don’ts of having multiple mates.

They both came over. “Let’s talk about it over breakfast.”

“Okay. I’ve never. I don’t know how everything works. I mean, you two do. You shared a mate before.”

“No,” Sloan said, kissing my temple. “Angela doesn’t have any part in us. Whatever happens between us will be how we decide. She will always be a part of our life because of Koby but you are our mate now. We make the rules. Now, unfortunately, you need to go get dressed so we can have breakfast.” As I moved to walk, he slapped my ass hard, making me squeal.

Justice got dressed and Sloan went to his room to do the same. I got to my room and put on a pair of loose cream shorts and a rust-colored crop top. No bra. Because I could.

By the time I got to the table, they had set everything up. There were pastries, and even some breakfast sandwiches. The coffee was hot and one of them had put sugar and creamer on the table.

“You have questions. Let’s get to those first,” Justice said, winking at me. These two. They had really been holding back all this time. Now they were on full power.

“How are we going to tell Koby?” I blurted. Hard questions first.

“We will tell him together. We will tell him that you are our mate and part of our family. I don’t think it will be anything major. He already has bonded with you.”

I nodded. “And what are the rules of this…” I made a circle with my finger. “Thing.”

They chuckled. “That’s really up to you. Be more specific.”

I blew out a breath. I loved that they wanted to be open about all of this. Jason and I never talked about intimacy. He got what he wanted. End of story. “Do we all have to be together? If one of you is home and the other is at work or one of you is out of town or…”

Sloan reached out and dragged my chair over and then pulled me onto his lap. “We’re not jealous, mate. If you want to sleep with one of us or both of us, there’s nothing wrong with that. But it’s certainly more fun together.”

“And the living situation?” I took a bite of my sandwich.

Justice spoke up, “We have the master. We could all sleep in the same room. Maybe change another room into a closet for three? A huge walk-in? It’s really up to you. We want to give you whatever you need. You…we love you, Livvy. You belong to us. You’re calling the shots.”

“I don’t want to sleep alone anymore,” I said. “I’m mated to both of you and honestly, I can’t imagine sleeping with one and not the other. I would miss one of you.”

“Then it’s settled. I will call my people tomorrow and get them making changes.”

Justice. The contractor. Gosh, no wonder changing the entire house around seemed like a piece of cake to him.

We finished our breakfast while talking everything over.

“What time does Koby get back?” I asked, trying not to be greedy but also knowing that when the monster got home, our alone time would be restricted.

“Another three hours. What did you have in mind, mate?”

“You two and my bed.”

Chapter Twenty-Four

Livvy

Koby’s Pop-Pop had mentioned a state park nearby with large trees and multiple hiking trails. He thought it would be good for Koby to go and, if he shifted, well, he shifted. This time of year, and especially on a weekday, there weren’t many hikers.

I got up early and got my coffee in. Justice and Sloan had made a fuss over me getting out of bed early, but I had to pack our hiking bags. Koby even had a tiny one with his own gear. If this place was what Pop-Pop said it was, we would be visiting often.
