Hello, baby.

I reverse, then make a three-point turn, and we hit the road in no time.

He watches me. “You’re good.”

I shrug.

He adds, “I’m surprised you didn’t have to adjust the seat.”

“I’m almost as tall as you are.”

Perhaps sensing my cockiness, he places a hand on my thigh, tracing my leg under the skirt of my dress. “You have long legs, that’s why.” He then drives his hand back up, resting on my inner thigh.

“Clayton, I’m driving.” This is too close! If he moves just half an inch, I’m going to let go of the wheel.

“Not so good now, are you?” he whispers.

I extend my arm, slap my hand against his crotch and fondle his balls.

“Ugh…” he groans.

Fuck, that makes me horny! I saw his morning wood when we woke up, but what’s growing against my palm right now is almost as hard as stone. Where it starts and where it ends, it’s beyond what my mitt can handle.

For the sake of my own sanity, I withdraw my hand. “Now we’re even.”

“Revenge, huh?” he fusses, adjusting his pants. “By the way, how did you sleep?”

“Not so well.”

“Oh?”

“I was hungry.”

“Why didn’t you tell me? I’m not much of a cook, but I could’ve fixed you something or heated up the leftovers.”

I look at him, hinting he’s got it all wrong. Then I gnaw my lower lip, clarifying what kind of hunger kept me up all night.

“Baby Belle, not now,” he grumbles as I pull up into my driveway.

“Pity,” I deadpan, and then hop out of the car.

When we get inside, Thomas is making breakfast while Raffi is still in bed.

“Hey,” I greet my bestie, entering with Clayton in tow.

“Hey, did you have fun?” Thomas asks, bustling at the stove without paying any attention to who’s watching.

“It wasfuckingfun.”

My word choice finally prompts him to turn around. He drops the spatula he’s using to make his omelet. “Iz! I didn’t know…”

“Clayton, this is Thomas. Thomas, Clayton.”

“Hi there,” Clayton greets him genially.

“Hey…” Thomas finally extends his hand after glaring at me, clearly, for not telling him in advance about my guest.

Seeing his comical face, I can’t help it. “Thomas thinks you’re his soulmate,” I blurt.
