Hyde led me into the stall. I leaned against the wall, keeping pressure off of my knee as I looked at Hyde.

“I’ll sit right here until you’re done,” he said, gesturing to the toilet. “Make it quick.” I nodded and wordlessly tried to shut the stall. Hyde grabbed my wrist, moving it away from the door. “Leave it open. I want to watch.”

A shiver raced up my back, encapsulating my whole body. I searched his face to see if he was joking, but there wasn't a hint of jest on his face. He moved to the toilet and sat down, those dark eyes drinking in my body from head to toe and back again.

I need to get away from these men. Or I’m going to do something unforgivable.

CHAPTER FOUR

Shivering, hair still wet and dripping, I stepped out of the shower with Hyde’s help. He’d watched me the entire time, never taking his eyes off me. Every movement I made felt like I was under a microscope. I shuddered at the thought.

“Clothes are in my office.”

“Here.” Christian walked into the bathroom with a stack of clothes as I clutched the towel against my body. “Already found some.”

Carefully, I took them from him. “Thank you.”

He grunted.

“Man of few words,” I said. “Unless you’re threatening me.”

“I can go back to the threatening if you’d like,” he shot back.

“Nope, I am good,” I said quickly. “Can I get dressed?”

“I’ll help you,” Hyde volunteered.

“No,” I said quickly. “You stay away. My knee is already feeling better after that shower. I don’t need help.”

“Then get dressed,” Christian said.

“Get out.”

“No,” he answered.

I swallowed hard. “Please, get out.”

“Don’t matter how nice you say it, sweetheart,” he said as he stalked toward me, “You can’t be trusted. Put the clothes on. We’ll watch and make sure you don’t get nervous and try to bolt again.”

My heart tripped in my chest. Stuck under his gaze, I couldn't do anything but nod lamely. He stepped back, moving beside Hyde where they both kept a close eye on me. Sighing, I lifted my head and stared back at them.

Don’t let them intimidate you. Head high, confidence, make them back down. Not the other way around.

My little pep talk made me stare them down as I tossed the towel to the side. I sat the clothes on the sink and picked up the pair of sweats and t-shirt that he’d brought me. They were my gardening clothes. I liked to have a spare set when I went behind the church to tend the little community plot I’d started running. But that meant I didn’t have any new panties or bra.

Keep going. Ignore them.

I felt their hungry gazes on my body as I leaned my hip against the sink. I struggled, but I managed to slip the sweats up my legs carefully before pulling them up over my butt. Once they were settled into place, I made the mistake of looking up.

Two hungry wolves stared back. I wasn’t sure who was more likely to devour me: Hyde or Christian. They both took in my breasts, staring at them as if they wanted a taste. Wetness rolled between my thighs and I snapped them together in response.

What is wrong with me?

No one had been able to even remotely tempt me since I’d taken up my position as reverend. After all this time, why was I crumbling now? I didn’t understand, but it was terrifying.

They’re just like the beasts from my past. That’s the issue.

I shook my head, trying to knock the memories free. Memories of late nights, hungover mornings, rough sex, and motorcycles. It was the life I’d left behind when all I’d been handed was heartbreak at the hands of a man like them. Bikers were from the devil. I wouldn’t bow to their desires.
