LOST IN EDEN

AUTHOR NOTE

Have you ever listened to a church sermon given by a sexy fox of a deacon and thought of all the ways you could defile him? Have you ever thought about what would happen if he threw caution to the wind, had a few drinks, and then played your body in ways you only imagined?

If you have, this one’s for you.

But fair warning, this is a religious taboo romance, and may contain scenes or content that can be triggering for some. This includes references to cheating, past sexual abuse, and prostitution.

Please know your limits and keep yourself safe.

Good girl. Now let the debauchery begin.

PROLOGUE

NATE

The rain fell around me, pounding on my back as my knees hit the mud on the side of the road and I sank. Deeper. And then deeper still. The light from my truck illuminated me and the wildflowers that lined the runway on the other side of the chain link fence. I shouldn’t have stopped there, but I could no longer see through the tears or hear anything over the choked sobs bubbling in my throat.

I tipped my face toward the sky and cursed the God who was supposed to be my solace.

Why? Why her? You already took her from me once, and now you are shredding the memory of the only woman who ever truly loved me.

My body quaked with the need to—I didn’t know. It wasn’t like I could fall any further. I was already at rock bottom.

I couldn’t go back home. That place was haunted with the memory of her. The lies. Those walls had once been our haven, but now they were nothing more than the site of her betrayal.

Over and over.
