Gabriele

Last night Kira slept in my bed. I wouldn’t care where we slept as long as she was wrapped up around me, but I wanted this memory. I wanted to remember Kira every time I lay there.

We didn’t have sex again last night, but I ate her out before we went to sleep. I simply couldn’t stop. But I knew I could not spend today with her. I had to leave. I had to deal with that shit myself.

Kira woke up a little late, and when she was in the shower, I called Michele and told him to bring Priscilla. I didn’t want to leave her alone and also knew she enjoyed Priscilla’s company. I wanted her to have a good time because I sure as hell was going to.

I kissed her goodbye before Priscilla and Michele came into the apartment because kissing in front of them would only cause problems. I was not excited to hear my brother’s thoughts about my relationship with Kira.

She could tell it to Priscilla if she wanted to, though. I would not be mad. She never had a friend. I wanted her to. I wanted her to experience things she missed. Also, my sister was less judgmental, and she was always the first person I would go with a secret. She was maybe too loud and giddy, but she was also loyal. She was mature when it came to the things that mattered.

When I got into the car with Michele, I asked, “Is he beat up?”

“He fought while we were taking him, but after that, we didn’t touch him.” he turned to me with skeptical eyes. “You told us not to touch him.”

I smirked. “Yeah. I know what I said.”

I didn’t want them to touch him because I was going to touch him. I was going to hurt him.

The road to the warehouse took a little longer because we had to leave the city, and all throughout the road, I was bubbling up with the excitement of vengeance. My hands were flexing on my thighs with the need to hit that asshole. I was going to make sure he was going to get it hard and then still make it back to my apartment to sleep, holding Kira close to my chest.

It was going to be a great day.

I almost jumped out of the car when we reached the warehouse. I got inside and started walking to the room I knew he was being kept. My soldiers straightened when they saw me but my focus was not on them.

Roberto immediately came to my side, walking at my pace. He was simply here because we didn’t have anything more important than this at the moment. “You sure you want to do this yourself?”

“Yes,” I answered shortly.

Roberto didn’t give up. He would never step back just because I was angry. He would always push me. “This is going to have consequences, Gabriele. I Just want to make sure you thought this through.”

I stopped and turned to him. Normally I would appreciate his talk, but right now, all I wanted was to beat up that guy. “I am the person who finished the Five Families, Roberto. I made New York mine. I can handle a Bratva bastard.”

“I didn’t forget. I was right next to you while you did all that, but it was different. Families were breaking apart. We used the chaos. There is no chaos in the Bratva.”

I gritted my teeth. “And that’s what I am trying to do.” Then I left before he could say anything else. He might judge my methods, but he would always be at my side. I trusted him the most. He was a well-deserved Consigliere.

When I stepped into the room, there were two soldiers, and then in the middle, there washim.

“Ivan Borisyuk,” I called, and his eyes came up to me. He was tied to a chair, and there were a few bruises on his face. It was not very hard to find out he enjoyed the company of the outsiders. And now that Kira was gone, he went to his hunt pretty fast. It was so easy to bate him with a redhead woman who would want to sleep with him in his car.

Before he could do anything, my men took him out of that car.

We were getting very good at kidnapping these days. When planned well, it was awfully easy.

I eyed the man in front of me again. “The man who came from nothing. Consigliere without a last name.” he had many names, but when I looked at him, I didn’t see what I just voiced. I only saw a man who raped Kira.

My sweet, lovely Kira.

“Gabriele Falzone,” he said with a smile, playing along. “Fearless.”

“Today, you can call me Jack Ketch instead.”

His eyes widened slightly. He was good at hiding his feelings, but from that slight movement, I could tell that he didn’t think he was going to die. He was not afraid before hearing my words.

Now he was.

Ivan laughed, but it was so obviously forced. “Now I see why they call you Fearless. But you know there is a line between bravery and stupidity.”
