I rolled my eyes. “I just don’t understand why you would want to cover perfection.”
His lips twitched. “You are awfully sweet tonight. If you keep being good, maybe you can see perfection.”
I giggled and clapped my hands. “Yay.”
“Now eat,” he said with a commanding tone. It made me all hot and bothered. I hated being told what to do, but I loved it when Antonio ordered me around in bed and then praised me for following his orders perfectly.
Damn, the praises were always the best.
I shook my head and took sushi, trying to keep my horniness from ruining my plans for the night. I needed to find a way to start the conversation. I was too excited about this.
“Did you order vegetarian sushi for yourself?” Antonio asked, startling me. He also gave me the perfect opening for my speech. I could have just kissed him for it.
“Yes. I am trying to become a vegetarian. You know most people I met at the shelter are either vegetarians or vegans.”
“The animal shelter?”
I nodded with a huge grin. “Yes. I went there again today. It was great.”
Antonio gave me a soft look. The kind that could stop my heart. “I think what you are doing is really nice. If there is something I can help with as well, please let me know. I like supporting you.”
“Aww, that’s really cute of you. I will tell you.” I bit down my bottom lip. “Actually, thereissomething I wanted to tell you.”
Antonio looked up from his food curiously. “What is it?”
I put on my sweetest smile. “Well, you see, there is this dog in the shelter. His name is Apollo, and he is the cutest little thing, and he loved me both times I visited there. I thought maybe we could adopt him.”
Antonio’s expression didn’t change. His face didn’t give me any clue on what he was thinking, which made me afraid he was going to say no, but then he said, “Okay.”
My eyes grew. “Okay. Just like that?”
“You like animals,” he stated like this was enough of a reason and ate another piece of sushi. “Is getting him going to make you happy?”
I nodded. “Of course. I wanted to get another dog for so long. I thought you may say no because well… it is you.”
It looked like those words hurt him, or I was imagining, but there was something in his eyes. “There are not many things in the world that can make me say no to you. I promised to give you happiness, and I am trying to do that. I also like dogs. I mean, I wouldn’t get one if it was not for you, but I’ll get used to him. The building doesn’t allow dogs, but it is not like I am living my life according to the law anyway.”
A huge grin broke on my face. I jumped from my chair and sat down on Antonio’s lap, raining his face with kisses. “You are the best husband ever. Thank you.”
One of his hands brushed my ass, and the other caressed my back in a possessive way. “You can ask for anything from me, Priscilla. I willalwaysgive it to you.”
I giggled as I kept kissing every inch of his face. “Except to get you naked, I guess, hmm?”
He slapped my ass softly. “That is a hard one. If I get even half-naked with you, I don’t think I can stop myself from fucking you.”
Oh, that was turning into something I would like. I stopped my kisses to nibble his jaw. “Maybe you shouldn’t stop.”
I could feel him getting hard under me, but still, he didn’t lose his mind like me. “We need to eat.”
“We’ll eat, I promise,” I said and then leaned over to his ear to whisper. “But please fuck me first.”
Antonio gave a soft growl. “You run a good bargain,” he murmured and rose from his chair with me in his arms. I gave a yelp but then giggled. All of my nerves were for nothing. Antonio always managed to make me happy in one way or another.

I carried Priscilla to our bedroom so quickly even I was surprised by myself. My desire didn’t leave my body at all after I had her but instead kindled even more. My theory was complete nonsense. I still wanted her every second of the day. My heart still ached when I looked at her. My doctor was at the point of mocking me because I kept getting my heart checked.
There was nothing to mock. It was not natural at all.
