Everything was perfect.

Chapter 25

Antonio

Friday afternoon, we got on the road to the Lake House. We hadn’t been there with all of us together in a while, and it was Priscilla’s first time. She was so fucking excited, though. She seemed cheery this week, and even though her smiles always brightened my insides, I also felt like a douchebag. Why had I never taken her somewhere? I put her inside a penthouse and expected her to spend her days waiting for me.

I was not being the good husband I thought I was. I was learning, though.

When we reached the house, I showed her the room I always stayed in, and she loved it. She always loved everything. It made things nicer but also harder. I wanted her to be happy for real. Just because I was not capable of expressing my feelings didn’t mean she had to fake hers too. I wanted to give her real ones to make up for my fake ones.

Since we were three couples, everybody was excited about this trip in their own way. In order to have some alone couple-times, we decided to celebrate the birthday Friday night, spend time together the next day and then have the night to ourselves. I thought maybe Valerio and Verona could be offended by that plan, but they assured us it was okay. They were older now. They understood we needed alone time.

It was a good dinner. Even though I was expecting some tension at the table, most likely to be caused by my wife, it didn’t happen. I saw Salvatore getting worked up at some of her smart remarks, but he kept it inside. It was good. I didn’t like choosing between my best friend and wife.

Unfortunately for Salvatore, in case of a real fight, I would have taken Priscilla’s side. Those smart remarks were one of the few things that amused me. He had no chance against that. He had no chance against those small emotions she was able to give me.

After dinner, the girls sat closer to the lake as we went inside to do the dishes. We didn’t like any outsider here, and since it was Isabella’s birthday, she decided it was our responsibility.

When we came back out, Mia was shaking her head, her hands blocking her ears. “I don’t want to hear it.”

Verona was rolling her eyes at laughing Isabella and Priscilla. The sound of her laughter washed away the irritation I felt from the Vasile brothers’ bickering. Alessio was happy to serve since it was Isabella’s birthday, but Salvatore and Valerio were not happy with doing the dishes.

When Priscilla laughed like this, none of it mattered, though. Nothing mattered.

We all reached the girls, and Salvatore sat next to my sister, prying her hand away from her ears with some worry in his eyes. “What happened?”

“Nothing,” she answered, but despite the dark, I could see her cheeks turn red.

“What were you talking about?” I asked, lifting a brow.

They all answered at the same time.

Mia said, “Fashion.”

Isabella said, “Clothes.”

Priscilla said, “Dick sizes.”

Okay, so it was dick sizes.

It made sense that Mia was not comfortable since the two other women were married to her brothers. I was also not happy that Priscilla talked about dick sizes with my sister, but I also felt a threatening smile. This was just Priscilla being effortlessly herself.

Salvatore and Alessio got closer to their wives with huge eyes and asked if it was true with hushed voices. Priscilla came up and tapped my chest for me to kiss her while giggling.

I kissed her smile. It was my favorite part of her. Her ass was a close second.

Verona got up, rolling her eyes, a Stephen King paperback in her hands. “I have to tell you it was not fun learning about your cocks.”

Mia gave her a warning look at her choice of words, but she didn’t look her way. It was impossible to tame Verona.

Valerio threw a hand on her shoulder, pulling her towards the house. “You have to tell me what they said so I can confirm if they were honest.” We did change clothes together at the gym, but my dick has probably never been as huge as it has been for Priscilla. It wouldn’t be a very scientific comparison.

I didn’t say that, though. It was probably not very appropriate.

Verona sighed. “Do we have to?”

She was more like me. She was the silent one among the twins. She was always the silent one, but when they were kids, she was like a princess. Her shyness was due to her ladylike nature. In the last few years, she turned into someone more like me.
