“I need you, now,” Drake said, turned me around so that I bent over the table in front of the two-way mirror. On the other side of the mirror, a couple were fucking, with her in the sling and him standing half-naked, dressed in leather regalia.
Drake turned me around, hiked up my dress, pulled down my shoulder straps so that my breasts fell free, and leaned over me, running his lips and tongue down my neck.
By the time he entered me, without any preliminaries, I was already so wet and swollen that I came within a minute of him thrusting, shocking myself with how aroused I had been.
“Oh, God, oh,God…”
When I opened my eyes, I could see Drake smiling as he continued to thrust.
Then, he too was over the edge, his neck strained, his muscles tense.
He ejaculated inside of me, gasping, his face next to mine.
After a moment of catching his breath, he sighed heavily, and kissed my neck, my cheek, then my lips.
“You were very fast, Sir,” I said to him, a smile on my lips.
“You were even faster, Katherine,” he replied. He buried his face in my neck and we lay there for a few moments, just recovering.
“I’m glad we came,” he said and stood up, pulling out of me, watching in delight while I kept my thighs open.
“So is this one, Sir.”
He smiled and tore his eyes away from my body. Our eyes met. I knew that this was as much a part of his ritual as anything.
“You were wonderful,” he said and then kissed me deeply.
We cleaned up and left the room, then made our way back up to the main bar. Before the elevator doors closed, I saw that Dane was still engaged in some scene with a couple. Upstairs, the place was busy with dozens of patrons sitting at tables, drinking and eating. It seemed that the patrons were there as much to socialize as well as indulge in the dungeon. I thought quite a lot of business probably went on in the bar, as people seemed really deep in conversation. Drake and I left and went down to the waiting limo.
George was on duty, and got out, opening the door for us. He then drove us home to the 8thAvenue apartment.
We went up to the apartment and thanked Brenda Mills for sitting with Sophie while we went out.
“Did you two have a good time?” she asked as she gathered her things.
“We had a very good time,” Drake said and smiled at me, raising his eyebrows a bit. “We’ll have to have you back again soon.”
“Let me know. I’m always happy to sit when I’m free.”
Drake walked her down to the waiting limo and as I watched out the window, she waved as the limo drove off.
Drake came back upstairs, and after slipping out of his shoes, he came over to me and pulled me into his arms.
“That was a night to remember,” he said and kissed me. “Thank you, Kate. For everything. For moving back. For loving me enough to give up everything so we could be here, despite everything.”
“I gave up nothing,” I said and sat up, pulling him down to me so that our faces were just inches away. “I got everything.Youare everything to me. You and Sophie. And Liam.”
He held my gaze for a moment and then we kissed warmly.
I knew that whatever we faced, as long as we faced it together, we would be happy.

Epilogue
When we were finallyable to find a place to live, when Maureen and Chris had picked a home and we knew what neighborhood school Liam and Sophia would be attending, the apartment we originally saw was sold, so we went in search of something similar, with the same expansive feel and well-preserved character. We were lucky to find it very quickly and got workers in to do the renovations we desired before we moved in late August.
Maureen, Chris and Liam just returned from their trip to China to see the final project that Chris had been working on for the past three years. Maureen was scheduled to drop Liam off at our home after lunch where he would spend a couple of weeks before the start of the school year. We wanted him to get used to his new home during the week, and schedule of weekends with Maureen and Chris before he had to also get used to a new school.
