I follow Dani out of the room, though Idodip down to quickly whisper in Kang’s ear, “Thumbsarefingers.” I’ve never seen a man’s face turn a brighter red.

When we get to Dani’s corner office, she shuts the door and closes the blinds over her windows, offering some semblance of privacy. The phone on her desk is ringing off the hook, and from where I am, I can see her inbox has at least twenty new messages in the time it took for us to wrap up the meeting.

“So,” I say casually. “How’d I do?”

“Not bad,” she says with a soft laugh. Dani takes a seat on the edge of her desk. “Though I think you’ll have to keep an eye out for Kang. He’s got an ego. You should learn not to bruise it.”

“Or he could learn to grow the fuck up,” I murmur, walking toward her. I place my hands on either side of her hips, leaning forward to drink her in.

“I was serious about that paperwork, Luka. I need to get it filed with HR so we can swap out your visitor’s badge.”

I smile against her lips. “Go ahead. Both your hands are free.”

“Luka, we’re at work.”

“I fail to see how that’s a problem.”

Dani laughs, throwing her arms around my shoulders as my hands slide down to shimmy up her skirt. “Ugh, fine. You have ten minutes.”

I kiss her hungrily. “I’ll get you there in four.”

The End
