“Merlot and deep dark chocolate in your coffee on a rainy evening,” I smile, running my finger through his messy hair.

“I’ve had the traditional bakery, the sweet pink, fun and frilly kind you see on every second street corner,” I explain, feeding Ethan a chocolate covered strawberry.

“It sounds like I misjudged you,” Ethan says, looking up at me, his hands squeezing my thighs, pulling me closer to him.

“What is that?” I ask, “The great Ethan Knight proven wrong twice in less than 24 hours?” I laugh.

Ethan shrugs and kisses my belly, “At least I’m inspirational,” he says.

“Really?” I ask breathlessly.

He kisses along the waistband of my underwear, his warm breath on my crotch reminds me of the night before, in his study, on his bed, over and over. My breathing stalls.

“You don’t think I’m inspirational?” he asks, squeezing my butt cheeks in his hands. My crotch is so close to his face I need only breathe out and his face will be in my lap.

Just the thought of it makes my clit throb.

“Well, that’s one way of putting it,” I say sitting on his lap, straddling him.

I wrap my arms around Ethans neck and kiss him passionately. “Finish your breakfast,” I whisper between kisses.

“Are you going to help me with that too?” he asks, looking up at me.

I can feel his erection growing beneath me as I rock gently back and forth on it feeling the wetness between my own legs spreading over the front of my panties.

I pick up a pancake with my fingers and feed it to Ethan. I lick the chocolate off my fingers and a little bit off the corner of his mouth.

I lick his lips and then his fingers as he feeds me a pancake. The sweetness and bitterness of the chocolate coats my tongue and flavors our kisses.

“Do you know that chocolate is an aphrodisiac?” I ask, grinding into him.

“I think this is going to be my favorite partnership,” Ethan says, lifting me up in his lap and carrying me back to his bedroom.

Ethan

Ed answers the phone and agrees to meet me as if he already knows what I’m going to say. Even as I walk through the doors of Suave I see him watch me then glance at Cassidy who is talking to someone at a table nearby. I watch her but only for a moment then sit down and greet Ed.

“You’ve changed your mind,” he says excitedly.

Ed’s excitement is always understated, his brooding looks don’t really allow for too much of a variation when it comes to facial expressions, but his dusky gray eyes are shining. A small smirk on his face tells me this is exactly what he wants to hear.

“It turns out I was wrong to think I was wrong,” I chuckle.

Ed nods, glances over and catches Cassidy looking at me. She blushes and quickly turns away. I try to hide a small smile.

“I see, I see, I see,” Ed smiles, nodding to himself.

“It’s pretty clear which way this bet will go now,” I say, shrugging pompously. “But if you want to risk it then you can still bet against me,” I offer.

Ed takes a swig of his dark drink, I guess it’s scotch, and weighs his options. I can tell he’s thinking from the way his head moves from side to side.

“You won’t make it down the aisle. Not with that girl,” Ed says.

Even though I already know we will, we’ve hedged the bet together, and there is no way we’ll lose. I’m curious. What is it about Cassidy that he can see and I can’t.

“Why would you say that?” I ask. “I mean, she’s clearly interested.”
