Dylan grabbed the first shirt on top of the pile in the drawer and brought it to me, helping me maneuver it on, then gathering up the towels and taking them into the bathroom. He returned completely nude and sat on the edge of the bed next to me and ran a bent finger along my cheekbone. His eyes moved over my face until they met mine. He was studying me. “Do you expect me to have a calm conversation with you walking around like that?” I asked.

Dylan huffed out a soft laugh. “Why should I be the only one to suffer? I have a permanent erection now that we’ve crossed that line. It’s all I can think about. You’re so beautiful, and sexy,” he answered. “You always were so gorgeous. At your parents’ wedding you were like a little princess in your sparkly dress.”

My eyes widened and my mouth dropped open in awe. “You remember that?” I asked in surprise.

“I remember everything about us. That’s the first time you told me you were my damsel.” His eyes were sparkling with the reflection of the candlelight, and I could see he meant every word. My pulse started to race. Every part of my skin he touched was super sensitive. His hand covering the one I had laid on his chest, his bent knee between my thighs, his hand cupping my head and neck, this thumb brushing against my jaw. “I’m just sorry it’s taken so long for us to get to this point.” His tone was low and emotional.

Every moment I fell more in love him, and more than I ever thought possible. My heart was so full it must surely burst. Now I could see that he had felt much of the same pain that I had.

“Hey,” I said softly, reaching up to lay my hand against the side of his cheek, feeling the soft scratch of shadowy stubble on my palm. “It’s not like we’re a hundred.” It was the truth and though we did waste a few years, we were together, now. “And it was worth the wait. I’d go through it over and over if we could be like we are in this moment. We still have our entire lives to be together.” I flushed with heat; realizing that I was taking too much for granted. “If that’s what you want,” I blurted. How I could be embarrassed with him was beyond me, but this kind of relationship was new and fragile for us.

“Of course, I do. You know that Remi. Let’s make a pact,” Dylan said urgently reaching for my hand. “No matter what happens, no matter the challenges that could come up, that we promise to never leave each other. Things might not always be easy, given our circumstances. I just know I don’t want to lose you again.”

I swallowed at the rising emotion in my throat. “Oh, babe. You never lost me in the first place.” My answer was honest. “I always loved you, Dylan. For as long as I can remember.”

“I know, but I felt like I did. Loving someone this much when you can’t be with them all the time hurts. The closer we get, the harder it will be.”

He had just voiced my thoughts, and the worry I had about any impending separation. We could trust each other implicitly, but it would still hurt to be separated. “I agree, but we already know we’ll be separated sometimes. My parents did it and they’re still together.”

He kissed my hand and then rose and pulled down the bedding, ushering me underneath and following me in. “We will, but we can talk on the phone or Facetime at least five or six times a day.”

I snuggled into him, with a soft laugh. My hand played with the light dusting of hair on his chest. “Only five or six? We’d both have some time left to actually work, study, or play soccer. Why stop at six?” I teased lightly.

“You know what I mean,” he said. “I just want the connection. I want this to last forever, so that means you’ll have to tell Alan he has no chance.” He chuckled.

“I will. I feel mean. He isn’t Mr. Personality, but he’s a good person.”

“I’m sure he is.” Dylan’s agreement was laced with jealousy.

“I’ll tell him,” I reiterated.

I felt so content, though I knew our desire would devour us again many times before the sun came up. There wasn’t a safer place in the universe than wrapped in Dylan’s strong embrace, with my head resting over his heartbeat, in the soft glow of candlelight and surrounded by the cushy comforter.

In a sudden move, he rolled over, putting me beneath him and back into the plush pillows. His knees spread my legs wide, and his bent arms caged around me, underneath my arms; both of hands holding my head.

Dylan pressed the hard silk of his erection against me in small, slow pushes showing me without words what he wanted. Instantly my breath left, and my body hummed as his mouth swooped down to devour mine, his tongue pushed inside my open mouth to war with mine.

My knees bent and lifted, as I sought more of the delicious pressure, silently begging for him to push inside me.

When the kiss broke, we were both panting, but still, my chin lifted hoping for more. Dylan looked down at me. Our eyes met in silent communication.

Flashing a sexy grin his words echoed my desires. “This mushy stuff is amazing, but it’s time for some seriousboning.”

I burst out laughing. “Are you mocking me? I can sayboning,” I admonished. “Boning, boning, boning!”

He laughed hard and then we both sobered, and he stroked both of my cheekbones with his fingers. He was still over me, holding me a very willing captive. I could feel his chest rise and fall against mine, and my feet hooked behind his knees. Now, it was my hips that lifted against and his answered as he pushed inside.

He felt so huge and already my insides began the delicious building throb. Overwhelmed, I turned my head toward my shoulder, and Dylan kissed the side of my face, then put his forehead against mine as he began to thrust in and then pull out. Over and over, in slow deliberate movements he loved me.

“I never dreamed this would happen, Remi, but it feels so right. I love you so much. I never want another man to touch you again.”

The intensity of love and desire in his voice, laced with a hint of possession was the most beautiful thing I’d ever heard, and the night was filled with emotion, blissful sensation, and soft moans of pleasure until the sun rose.

The box of leftovers from dinner were forgotten, left to spoil on the table in my entryway. The only hunger that existed… was for each other. It was insatiable.

Remi

The hours between our shower and breakfast flew by.
