“All of you,” she says, looking at Austin and Landry.

“And we would do it all over again.” Austin settles on the bed next to me with Landry coming in behind her. They each reach for her in their own way, and we sit there connected as one. As a family.

“In a heartbeat,” I add, holding her gaze. I need her to see how serious we are about her. “You’re the most beautiful person on this planet. Caring and giving to anyone worth enough of your love. We told you back at the cabin we wanted you. That hasn’t changed.”

She looks into my eyes and I hold her gaze for several seconds, stroking a thumb over her jaw.

Slowly and surely a smile replaces the anguish pulling her face into a frown.

“A family?” she asks, taking out hands and moving them over her womb. “It’s way too early to tell. But whatever our time at the cabin results in, I’d like to have a family. Big. At least five kids.”

She scrunches her nose in a cute way that has me laughing.

“I think we can cover that.”

“It’s a start,” Landry drawls.

She sucks in a deep breath. “I guess that means I’m yours forever and you’re mine.”

“I’m ready to get started on that.” Landry scoops Honor up and swings her around the hospital room. The tears she had on her face are now all from joy.

“I think we need to get our girl home and make sure she’s carrying our baby. Leave nothing to chance.”

Austin and Landry move Honor over to where I’m sitting, and we take turns kissing that sweet mouth of hers. Showing her the love we feel for her is the easiest thing we’ve done in our lives. The love we’ve always felt.

And she gives it right back to her three men.

Epilogue

Honor, two years later

Istand by the window looking out over the calm waters of the lake. The muscles in my shoulders and back have finally relaxed, and I have high hopes they will remain that way for the rest of the summer. If my men have anything to do with it, I know I won’t have a thing outside of mosquitos and what I want for dinner to worry about for the next month and a half.

Two things happened the night Boone got shot. I discovered my home was by their side. Seeing him take a bullet for me and the other two put themselves in harm’s way to protect me cut away all doubt I had, all fear of the unknown and gave me something new to live for.

Second, I discovered my passion for helping others. Seeing the kidnapper dead on the cabin’s doorstep hit me profoundly. He’d been desperate and hurting from the lack of money and the pain of losing his life partner to cancer a week before.

The former I can’t help, but the latter…that pain, that I can do something about. No one should feel alone after losing someone close.

Say what you will; I feel for the man.

People tried to tell me the love I share with my men is wrong. Not in my eyes. We don’t hurt anyone. In fact, we spread the love. I smile at the men unloading the truck and setting up the grill. Landry already has a big bonfire going, and Austin is pulling up chairs.

A lot of love.

I walk out of the cabin we rent every summer and strut by Boone, pinching his squeezable ass. They’ve peeled off their shirts with a nice layer of sweat covering all that rippling muscle.

“Hey, what was that for?”

I wink back at him and crook a finger and when I do a glint of sunlight bounces off my ring. The ring all three put on my finger the second they got me home. It took a bit for us all to figure out how we would blend our lives. Me in New York working toward my Ph.D. in psychology and them in DC with their security and bodyguard company. The easiest solution was branching out to NYC and moving headquarters there since I couldn’t transfer.

“What the fuck are you doing, woman?”

I smile wickedly at Boone as I drop my tank top over a chair and pad barefoot toward the lake. I have a bathing suit on but not for long. Stars have started to come out and it’s just about that time of day where you can see outlines and shadows and no real detail.

“Follow me and see,” I answer with a coy smile that has Austin dropping a pile of firewood and heading my way.

“There are others out here,” he husks.
