“Yeah, we should. With a warehouse full of illegal shit that we’re movin’,” Griz teases. Rage chuckles, grabs some clothes lying nearby, and presses them to the wound.

“Trek, drop him at the hospital and let me see what I can do with local PD,” Demon orders. Trek nods as we lift Rafe off the chair and help him to one of the vans. Once he’s inside, I walk back over to Demon.

“Who the hell were they?” I ask.

“I don’t know, brother. Never seen them before.”

“Me either. You get a good look at their cuts?” I ask. He shakes his head.

“No. I was just focused on gettin’ them the fuck out of here,” he tells me.

“Heard that. I didn’t see shit either. I’ll call Liam. I’m sure he has a security system set up here. See what we can get off it,” I tell him. He nods as he pulls his cell phone out of his pocket and starts making phone calls. I do the same.

“Yeah?” Liam answers.

“I know you have security here at the warehouse, and I need the feed,” I tell him.

“Why?”

“Some assholes you owe money just shot our prospect and demanded your shipment,” I inform him.

“What the fuck? I don’t owe anyone shit!” he roars into the line. “Give me ten minutes, and I’ll be there.” The line goes dead as I hold up both hands to signal ten minutes to Demon. He nods and returns to the conversation he is having on the phone.

“Didn’t expect that to happen,” Griz muses, passing me a cigarette.

“No shit. Wonder who they are.”

“No tellin’. If that was their full club, they aren’t very big.”

“That’s what I was thinkin’ too. They ain’t shit,” I tell him.

“Nope. Just some little shits tryin’ to play with the big dogs,” he says with a laugh.

“Heard that. They’re pickin’ the wrong dogs to come at.” It’s not a lie. We aren’t the club to fuck with.

“Yeah, they are. I’ve been to prison. I know how to bend those little bitches over and make them scream,” he adds. I just laugh. I know the asshole would do it too. He would make them pay for what they’ve done.

“Local PD is handled. Someone is goin’ out to talk to Rafe, but nothin’ will come of it,” Demon reports.

“That’s good. We didn’t need that shit, too,” I tell him.

“I know. Fuckin’ little bitches.”

“Liam’s on his way. He’ll pull the footage.”

“Good. We need to know who we’re dealin’ with. If they’re local, they aren’t much of a concern to us aside from shootin’ Rafe.”

“We goin’ after them for that?”

“Depends. We put it to a vote once we know more. Rafe is just a prospect.”

“Don’t matter to me. I say we hit those motherfuckers,” Griz chimes in.

“I agree,” I say. Demon nods as he pulls a cigarette free and lights it up.

“Then we’ll deal with it when we know more. I’m sure Liam has more insight on them than we do.”

“We gonna make them bleed?” Drake asks. I chuckle and glance over at him.
