I got off with two men on a Ferris wheel and let one take my virginity while the other watched. I wasn’t exactly a saint anymore. Years of hiding changed me.

“Hey, princess.” Rhys hooked his arm around me, his fingers slipping beneath my bikini strap. “I’ve been looking for you. Where have you been hiding?”

I flashed a sexy smile. “Someplace you couldn’t find me.”

“And where’s the fun in that?”

Rhys dipped his head down, and I couldn’t take my eyes off his lips. They were soft and warm, and I wanted to kiss him. “We only have a few more days. I’m trying to make this a summer you won’t forget.”

“Hmmm…” I hooked my arms around his neck, and he placed his hands on my hips, tapping his long fingers. “So far, you’re exceeding my expectations.”

Rhys was at least a foot taller than me and had about sixty pounds more solid muscle. Cut like an athlete, he was lean and toned, with a body so perfect I wanted to let my hands roam over every inch of him.

His hands moved from my hips to my ass. “You’re so fucking sexy, Grace. There’s nothing I wouldn’t do to have one night with you.”

“One night?” I gave him a sweet smile. “That’s all you would want?”

“No man could only have one night with you. But I’ll take whatever you’re willing to give me.”

I wanted to sayCole couldbut held my tongue. His reaction last night still pissed me off whenever I thought about him.

“Then, let’s play a game.” I flashed a smile. “If you can find me, you get to keep me for the rest of the night.”

He winked. “Challenge accepted.”

I got lost in the crowd and exited the room. A group of people stumbled down the hallway in my direction. I gripped the railing and ascended the staircase to the second floor.

My room was beside Rhys’s at the far end of the hallway. His door was open, so I poked my head inside. The guest room had the same king-size bed and balcony overlooking the bay as mine. I liked to sit outside at night, breathing in the salty air.

I loved it here.

This town was perfect.

Like a fairytale world.

Since Rhys was downstairs, I inched into the room and flipped through the books on the nightstand. I knew better than to spy, but I couldn’t help myself. Rhys was still somewhat of a mystery.

When I Googled his family, it returned thousands of search results. Most of the articles talked about their manufacturing company. One news outlet speculated they were bankrupt, but it was only a rumor.

I opened the dresser drawers containing socks, boxer briefs, shorts, and T-shirts. The closet was filled with dress shirts, pants, suits, and jackets.

Nothing exciting.

I sat in front of the desk and flipped open his laptop. I wanted to know everything about Rhys because I was starting to have real feelings for him. Of course, the MacBook was password protected. I needed to know more than what he’d told me over the past few weeks to crack the code, so I didn’t even bother.

I heard footsteps in the hallway moving closer to the room.

Shit.

Panicked, I hopped out of the chair and dropped onto the bed, my heart pounding against my ribcage.

Rhys entered the room, humming a tune under his breath, a bottle of liquor tucked under his arm. He stopped when he noticed me, a sly grin illuminating his face. “There you are, princess. You didn’t make it very hard to find you.”

I spread my legs, placing my hands on my inner thighs. “Come claim your prize, Rhys.”

His eyes darted across the room to the open laptop.

Shit, I’m so busted.
