She looks up at me, running her tongue over her bottom lip. “Anything?”
“Anything.”
I expect her to say something dirty—to tell me some wild fantasy that she has. And I’m ready to give her absolutely anything she asks for.
“I want you to get up there and sing.”
Okay, not what I was expecting.
But I’m still confident that I’m going to win. I only have one ball to knock in before the 8 ball.
“Deal.”
I line up my shot and get ready to end this game right here and now, but Erin stands behind me, reaches around, and grazes the front of my jeans.
Man, she’s fucking hot.
This woman is a complete mystery to me. She gives off a good girl vibe, yet she seems to have a streak of mischief. I can’t believe that someone as fun and gorgeous as she is has ended up here alone.
When she gives me a light squeeze, I completely miss the shot I was about to take and hit the 8 ball instead. In slow motion, I watch it roll into the corner pocket.
She looks up at me with her pretty brown eyes. “I’m not an expert on pool, but I’m pretty sure that means I win, right?
Sighing, I ask, “What would you like me to sing?”
“You pick.”
Okay, maybe I won’t get in her pants, but at least I can make sure I make her smile.
Chapter Five
Erin
ThebaddecisionjuiceI’ve been guzzling all night may as well be a magic potion. It has managed to turn a shy, nervous woman into a huge flirt.

But I have to admit it was nice.

Convinced, I was going to lose at pool, I was fully prepared to follow through and take Tanner home. The more he touched me, the more I wanted to go further.
Oh yeah. Tequila is magical.
But by some crazy miracle, I won the game. I thought about letting him off the hook and skipping straight to leaving. But honestly, I want to see him sing. He saw me sing earlier. It’s only fair.
I walk over to the table where my friends were, but all that remains is a few empty margarita glasses.
I pull out my phone and see a text from Gina.
We decided to hit the road. Now, you have NO reason not to go home with the hottie. I expect a full report tomorrow. If you need us, call. We will be there in a heartbeat.
I should’ve known they’d bail.
