“I am positive. A girl will never forget the first time the man she is in love with tells her he loves her.” There she goes again telling me she is in love with me and loves me.Yeah, tell her back moron.Shit.

“Oh Siren, I am so sorry. In case you haven’t noticed I can be a dumb ass sometimes, baby. That’s one of the many flaws you will have to learn to love. But the one thing I don’t want you worrying about is whether or not I love you.” She smiles and places her hand on my cheek. “I have been in love with you from the moment I saw you standing there, waiting formein that church. It has been hard as hell to appear indifferent. My own insecurities kept us apart in the beginning, but my absolute obsession with you, and your refusal to accept less than you deserve, shook me out of it.”

“You sure didn’t make it easy, big boy,” she says winking at me. Hungry and running out of control, I pull the ring from my pocket and grab her right hand. Swallowing my nerves because at this point it is just me being silly, I look the love of my life in her eyes and show her my heart.

"Ada Hearst, love of my life and reason for being. My own personal siren, will you do me the incredible honor of staying married to me?” I slide the ring from my grandmother on her hand and kiss her. She gasps before kissing me back, wrapping her arms around my neck. I pull back just needing to hear her say it when I see that twinkle in her eyes.

“I have a better idea,” she says. Laughing at her obvious excitement, I nod my head and pull her into my arms. It doesn’t matter to me. I will follow her into the depths of hell if she asks me to. I may have been a fool at the beginning but now, I simply just hers.

ChapterTwelve

Ada

I kiss him because I can’t help it and because I love his kisses.

“I love you,” he says in between kisses.

“I love you too,” I reply, a thrill running through me. He carries me into our bedroom and strips us bare. “I love you.” I’m going to say it so much he’s going to get tired it,

“I love you too,” he says, grinning. I lie down on our bed and spread my legs for him. He pushes into me without waiting. I feel so full and it’s an amazing feeling.

“Ahhh,” I moan, so ready for him as if he didn’t make me come in the truck.

“I love you so fucking much, wife. Forever,” he growls as he thrusts into me.

“I love you too, husband. Forever,” I moan. Suddenly, he flips me over so that I’m flat on my stomach. He pivots my hips up just a little bit and slams back into me from behind. Holy moly. This feels so good. He grips my hips as he gives me all of him. Just as I am about to come, he pulls out and changes our position. I am so on edge that when he finally lets me come, I scream so loud. He grunts my name as he fills me. I want more and more of that. I want his babies.

He pulls out of me and lies down beside me.

“God, you are so beautiful, Ada. Thank you for staying married to me,” he says brushing my hair out of my face.

“You’re not so bad yourself, Geeb. There is literally no one else I’d rather be married to.”

“You don’t know anyone else,” he says laughing.

“I know enough people. I love your laugh. You should do it more often,” I tell him, lacing my fingers with the hand he has resting on his chest.

“I didn’t have a lot to laugh about before I married you, Ada. You’ve changed me. You’ve made me a better man and that just sucks because that means Andrea was right. She’ll never let me live it down.”

It’s my turn to burst out laughing. “I don’t know her well yet, but she definitely seems like the kind of girl to hold it over your head.”

“One thousand percent,” he says leaning over to kiss me.

“I have an idea,” I tell him.

“What’s that, baby.”

“Let’s get married again. This time because we want to. Start it off right.”

“When?”

“Now. I’ll call Lavinia,” I say getting out of bed. I pull a robe on and walk out into the living room where I dropped my purse when we came in. I get my phone out and dial Lavinia.

“Ada? What’s wrong? It’s two o’clock in the morning.” Goodness, I lose all track of time when we make love.

“Nothing. Wake your husband up so he can remarry Geeb and I right now.” She doesn’t say anything. “Lavinia?” Instead of saying anything, she just bursts out crying. “Lavy?” I use the nickname I’ve called her most of our lives.

“Addy, I can’t wake him up.”
