"Because you are so viciously kind and just."

I walk over to the woman and hand her the cash, and then reach into my coat pocket to pull out an oracle deck.

"Take this," I say as I set both things in her hands. "The money can buy you a coat and a lot more, and the cards can help to guide you toward good fortune. The fortune teller that your mom took you to see as a kid was a joke—I'm a real witch, and I know you can still be the artist that you wanted to become."

"You can't possibly know that," she says with stunned, wide eyes as she stares down at the wad of paper bills.

"Come see me in the shop tomorrow and I'll show you how Ican."

"Thank you," she stammers as she gratefully accepts the gifts. "But why are you doing this for me?"

"Because everyone deserves to live their own dream," I say as I glance back over at Treyton with a smile. "I finally got to live mine."

I reach up and undo the clasp of my necklace to give to her.

"We are all made of stardust," she says as she reads it aloud.

"It's true," I say. "And it's time that we all started helping each other shine."
