God, he loved that feeling. How could anyone not?

Curling his toes in, Luke felt a tingling awareness, and when he glanced back up to the sidewalk, his gaze was drawn, once again, to the boy on the bench. The kid jerked his binoculars towards the action out in the surf, but Luke was almost certain their focus had just been elsewhere. Like maybe on the beautiful Latina now sunbathing on one of Kyle’s beach towels.

Luke sighed. He couldn’t exactly blame the dude for staring. Especially not after the kind of PDA he’d just scoped out. But Luke did hope he’d keep his distance because Luke had all but promised Shay she wouldn’t be harassed while hanging on his turf.

For a moment, he debated whether to say something, but then it occurred to him that in all the times he’d spotted his mysterious little visitor, Luke had never once seen him come down from that bench and stickhistoes in the sand.

Deciding his little creeper was a harmless one, Luke strolled off to the shore.

Chapter three

Andywashot.

Slightly feverish feeling.

Not because the early morning air was warming up, but because she’d just watched two total strangers have sex.

Okay, maybe they weren’t total strangers.

Andy was quite certain the woman in the yellow bikini was the chick on thatDysfunctionalshow everyone kept talking about. Andy wasn’t interested in watching it because she didn’t dig shows where teens were shooting up drugs, screwing around, and generally behaving like assholes to one another. Not her cup of escapism. She’d so much rather playWitcher. But whatever, she’d seen the woman’s face splashed all over the internet often enough to recognize her as Shay Martinez.

The other party involved in the shenanigans up on that balcony, Andy was far more familiar with. Because ever since she’d discovered her secret spot one morning after being forced to take an alternate route to work, she’d been watching him.

No, he wasn’thim-him. He wasn’t the one she’d been drooling over for weeks from the safety of her perch on this bench. The one who looked like a brown-eyed version of Henry Cavill with slightly less chin cleavage. The one who’d just made her whole damn year flashing her that hang-loose sign or whatever it was.

Oh, but this one — the scary tall blonde with all the tattoos — well, she had to admit she was salivating a little right now. And a weird fluttering sensation was hitting her down low in her slightly feverish body as she watched him stop outside the bathroom to tie up his shorts.

Shorts he hadnotbeen wearing up on that balcony.

Dear god, she’d seen him naked. It had only been for a few seconds after the towel had disappeared and Shay had moved out of the way, but it was long enough to discern the man was… well…long.

Down-therelong.

Andy had only ever seen one other penis before in real life. Okay, two if she were counting the incident with the flasher guy who’d used to lurk around the strip mall on Delta Boulevard. But that had been a majorickmoment, so no, she was not going to count it.

Which left her friend Carson Liu. They’d had sex one time a few months ago. Mostly because neither had wanted to graduate college as virgins, but also because they’d both been curious enough about sex to see what all the fuss was about. The light in Carson’s dorm room had been switched off when they’d done the deed, but even so, she’d seen his dick before he’d dived under the covers with her, and it had not been as long as this blonde guy’s. Not even close.

No, this man was very well-endowed. Which made sense given his height. Everything was probably just proportionate, and—

Oh, shit! At some point in her woolgathering, he’d made it down the steps and was turning towards her.

Jerking her binoculars away, Andy fixed her sights on the waves breaking in the distance and the flotilla of muscular bodies paddling about them on boards, and she tried not to think about the muscular body that was posted up not far from her in the sand. Tried not to think about a very specific part of it, and what said part had been doing behind the curtain of a towel several minutes ago.

As she tried very hard not to think about all this, Andy’s cheeks grew even hotter under his perusal, and a flash of irritation had her choking up on the binoculars.

God damn it. Couldn’t he let her objectify him in peace?

Must he stare back?

It was annoying.

This guy was annoying.

Walk away, she willed him.Just move right along with your scary hotness and freaky-deaky ways.

Finally, after another agonizing second of staring, he did just that.

Andy immediately tugged at the tie on her jacket’s hood, loosening it just enough about her face to let the breeze rush in and cool her overheated skin. Then she snorted out a relieved laugh.
