Tristan kept the pace slow, going as deep as he could. Sex with him was always breathtaking but the thing I loved most was his patience as we learned each other’s bodies, our likes and dislikes, all of the ways to make each other come undone.

And this intimate, intense position...thisI liked.

One of his hands gripped my hip, anchoring me in place as he rode my body, while the other glided up my stomach, gently squeezing my breasts before dipping between my thighs and rubbing my clit.

“God, Tristan,” I cried. “It feels… ah…”

“That’s it, Principessa, give it to me. Give me everything.”

Heat pooled low in my stomach, a tight ball of tension ready to snap. “More…God, more…”

He circled his hips, changing the angle. “Feel how deep I am,” he breathed the words against my cheek. “Feel how deep you pull me into your body.”

I looped my arm around the back of his neck and held on, giving into the sensations crashing over me.

“You’re mine, Alessia. Mine.” The possession in Tristan’s voice was enough to tip me over the edge. I cried out, riding the waves of pleasure crashing over me.

Tristan followed me over, thrust deep one last time and held himself there as he came hard. “You are amazing.” He kissed my shoulder.

“That was some wake up call,” I said around a smile.

I couldn’t stop smiling lately.

I think it was one of the reason’s Nicco had been so calm about everything—that and the fact Tristan had played a role in saving my life.

“But now I really need to pee,” I said, wiggling out of his arms.

Climbing out of bed, I grabbed his t-shirt and pulled it over my head. I liked wearing his clothes, being in his space. We hadn’t talked much beyond the here and now, but I knew without a doubt that I wanted it all with him.

“What?” he asked as I glanced back at him, my gaze lingering.

“I’m happy, Tristan,” I said. “You make me happy.”

TRISTAN

Alessia looked radiant as we sat crammed into a booth at Arianne’s favorite diner. I was hardly surprised that Nicco insisted we meet here. Boss or no boss, my cousin had Niccolò Marchetti wrapped around her finger.

Matteo and Caitlin were already here. The girls were chatting about nothing and everything and I could have spent a lifetime watching Alessia’s expressions. The small uncertain smiles to the big wide grins. The way her eyes danced with excitement or how her brows furrowed tightly whenever she was confused or concerned about something.

There wasn’t a single thing I didn’t know—or love—about her. Much to the disapproval of her cousins and Nicco. Not that I’d ever tell her that.

“How is everything?” Matt asked me.

“Good. It’s good.”

“I take it she stayed at your place last night?”

I nodded, my collar growing tighter. “How did you—”

“You have that look, man.” His expression darkened.

“What look?” I played along but I had a feeling where he was going with this.

“You know,” he said tightly. “And I gotta say it, Tris. Makes me feel fucking uncomfortable thinking about you and her. Shit, she’s still just a kid in my head.”

“She’s eighteen.”

“I know, I know. But she’ll always be Nicco’s baby sister. The little girl who followed us around, calling us out on our shit. Just do me a favor and promise me whatever happens or wherever this goes between the two of you, you’ll try your best not to break her heart.”
