"Is that all it was?" Angelo asked, raising an eyebrow suggestively. "Or did your personal feelings get in the way of your loyalty to this family?"

Toro's eyes narrowed, but he didn't flinch under Angelo's probing gaze. "Ollie isn't like the rest of his shitty family. He's an innocent guy. He just got caught in-between our families."

Angelo's eyes narrowed. He slowly looked Ollie up and down. Examined by the head of his family's worst enemies, Ollie fought the urge to shudder.

Then Angelo turned back to Toro. "Is that the only reason?"

Fear gripped Ollie's soul. But before he could say anything, Toro snorted. "Let's not pretend any of us are saints here, Angelo," Toro retorted instantly, a wicked grin playing on his lips. "We all know about your special little personal tutor, and a certain bartender…"

That made zero sense to Ollie. Toro's tone grew serious. "But this isn't just about sex. It's about protecting someone who matters to me. And if that makes me disloyal in your eyes, so be it."

"Bold words, Toro," Angelo said, his tone dripping with disdain. "But remember, it's not just your life on the line here. Your boy may be safe for now, but if Petrov uses him as an excuse to rally up the troops, there will be hell to pay."

"Let them come," Toro shot back defiantly, his powerful frame tensing at the veiled threat. "I won't let anyone harm him again."

"Your loyalty is touching, Toro," Angelo sneered, his eyes glinting with malice. "But you'd do well to remember where your true allegiance lies."

"Trust me, Angelo," Toro said with an icy smirk, "I haven't forgotten." He turned that smirk to Ollie. "And what do you have to say about all of this, Petrov?"

A surge of courage flowed through Ollie's veins, emboldening him to step forward and confront Angelo. "I just want to say that I'm grateful for what Toro did," he said, his voice trembling slightly but unwavering in its resolve. "If it wasn't for him, I'd still be at the mercy of my father, forced into a life I never wanted."

"Is that so?" Angelo replied coldly, glaring daggers at Ollie. "And what exactly is it that you want? To be the plaything of a Toscano enforcer?"

"Better than being Al Petrov's spawn," Ollie retorted, a fiery determination burning in his eyes. "At least with Toro, I can be myself. I can explore my desires without fear or shame."

"Desires, huh?" Angelo scoffed, sizing Ollie up as if he were an insignificant bug. "So this is what all the fuss is about? You've thrown over your entire family because you like a bit of rough handling?"

Ollie's cheeks went red. It sounded bad if you put it like that, but that completely failed to describe the situation. The connection between the two of them…it wasn't just something filthy.

As much as Ollie had enjoyed the filthy side, too.

"Angelo, that's enough," Bear interjected, sensing the escalating tension. "You know as well as I do that Toro has always been loyal to this family. He hasn't let his personal feelings compromise our safety or our operations."

"Is that so?" Angelo sneered, his gaze flicking between Ollie, Toro, and Bear. "And what would you have us become? A band of love-struck fools who put their own selfish desires above the collective good?"

Angelo's eyes narrowed, his every breath measured and deliberate as he processed the words that had been spoken. His gaze flicked from Ollie to Toro, then finally back to Bear. The tension in the room was suffocating, a silent pressure that threatened to crush them all beneath its weight.

"All right," Angelo finally said, the word cutting through the air like a knife. "But remember this, Toro: next time you want to kick a hornet's nest, don't do it alone."

Toro's jaw clenched, but he remained resolute. "I understand, boss," he said, his voice a low growl. "I'm prepared to face whatever consequences come our way."

"Good," Angelo replied, his tone cold and dismissive. "Now get out of my sight, all of you. I have more important matters to attend to."

As they turned to leave the opulent hall, Ollie couldn't help but feel a swell of gratitude towards Toro for standing by him, for choosing to support him even when faced with such dire opposition. The solidarity in that moment spoke volumes, and it ignited something deep within him—a fierce determination to prove that his faith in him hadn't been misplaced.

"Thank you," Ollie whispered, his voice barely audible as they stepped into the dimly lit corridor that led away from the grand hall. "For everything."

"Always, kid," Toro murmured, his hand brushing against Ollie's in a fleeting touch that sent shivers down his spine. "You're worth fighting for. After all, you're mine."

Ollie shivered. "Y-yeah?"

"Yeah. Remember that, Ollie," Toro whispered, his breath warm against Ollie's ear as he leaned in close, his lips brushing against the delicate curve of his neck. "We're in this together, no matter what lies ahead. And we'll face it head-on."

Ollie shivered at the raw intimacy of Toro's words, the promise of a shared future—dark and dangerous though it may be—filling him with a sense of exhilaration that was impossible to ignore.

As Toro and Ollie left the Toscano mansion together, they walked side by side through the sprawling gardens, moonlight casting shadows on their faces. The tension in the air had dissipated somewhat, replaced by a sense of quiet anticipation.

"Your family has disowned you, Ollie," Toro said, his voice low but steady. "What are you going to do now?"
