Watching him.

Julian's heart stopped. A moment later, he forced himself to look away and continue dressing, as if he hadn't just caught his bodyguard watching him with an intensity that sent shivers down his spine.

Flustered, he couldn't resist pushing just a little bit further: "You know, Bear, I've always found it fascinating how someone like you can move through this world so effortlessly. You're a regular wolf among sheep."

"Keep talking like that, and you'll find out just how hard a wolf can bite, kid," Bear muttered, his voice dark and dangerous.

"Is that a threat or a promise?" Julian poked his head over the privacy screen, and shot Bear a smirk.

"Consider it a warning," Bear growled, his patience clearly wearing thin. "I thought you were supposed to be a grown man by now. Don't make me put you over my knee, kid."

Julian ducked his head back down before Bear could see the way he went red. "Wouldn't dream of it," he lied smoothly.

Yet inside, his mind raced with wicked fantasies of being bent over those powerful thighs, feeling the heat of Bear's palm on his skin, the exhilarating sting of each slap...

Bear had been watching him.

Just like that, Julian's crush went from one-sided fantasy to something real.

He wanted this.

"Your suit will be ready for the wedding, Mr. Toscano," Alessi announced, drawing Julian back to reality. He quickly adjusted his clothing and straightened his posture—sending a very specificdown, boy!command to certain parts of his anatomy. He stepped out from behind the screen, careful not to let any hint of his arousal show.

"Thank you, Signor Alessi," Julian said, fighting to keep his voice steady as he prepared to leave. "And thank you for the walking-around suits. They fit perfectly, as always."

"Always a pleasure, Mr. Toscano," the tailor replied, his eyes twinkling with warmth. A hint of well-worn familiarity shone through his professionalism. "And behave yourself, alright?"

"Of course," Julian promised.

Though deep down he knew that this was one promise he had no intention of keeping.

As they left the shop, he could feel Bear's presence at his side, strong and unwavering—a constant reminder of the forbidden desires that burned within him, just waiting for their chance to be unleashed.

Julian's heart pounded like a drum in his chest as they stepped out of the tailor's shop, the crisp autumn air nipping at their skin. Despite the cool temperature, a warmth spread through him, fueled by the wicked thoughts that played on a loop inside his head.

He glanced sidelong at Bear, taking in the enforcer's broad shoulders and strong jawline, the way his eyes scanned the street with a practiced vigilance. "Hey, Bear," Julian said, his voice casual yet laced with a subtle flirtatiousness. "You know, you should get yourself a suit, too."

"I have one for the wedding."

"I didn't mean for the wedding, I meant for wearing every day. I bet you'd look dashing all dressed up."

Bear snorted dismissively, his focus never wavering from their surroundings. "Not my style, kid. I'm more comfortable in something I can fight in," he gestured to his well-worn leather jacket.

"Really?" Julian pressed, unwilling to let the opportunity slip away. "I can picture it now: a bespoke suit tailored to fit your strong build, highlighting every curve and angle of your body." His eyes lingered on Bear's arms, imagining how they would look wrapped in fine fabric.

"Enough," Bear grumbled, cutting off Julian's fantasy. "It's not happening."

"Shame," Julian sighed, feigning disappointment. Internally, however, a fire burned ever brighter. He was determined to break through Bear's seemingly impenetrable exterior—to uncover the man beneath the enforcer and indulge in his long-held crush before leaving town.

"Let's just focus on getting back in one piece," Bear said, his voice strained as though trying to maintain control.

"Of course," Julian agreed, a playful smile dancing on his lips.

In his mind, however, he was already plotting his next move–each step bringing him closer to living out the fantasies that had haunted his teenage years.
