God, the way they are all three looking at me. And all so different. I want to just crawl over Lance’s lap and cuddle up against Cassius while I drag my fingernails through Aaron’s thick, tawny beard. And I want themalltouching me. Kissing me.

“Ya okay, hun?” Aaron asks.

“Oh, yeah, I like it!” I smile dopily. “I have questions,” I say, only slightly more seriously. Goodness, I’m a lightweight. Two drinks and that sip of mimosa are making me feel open and good.

Lance’s hand on my leg presses down gently. Aaron chuckles and leans a bit forward, his fingertips brushing up and down Cassius’s knee. How does that not tickle an insane amount?

“What do you guys um…do here? Are you swingers? Or no, what’s that word that means you love both, not like bi. Like you love everyone?” I would clamp my mouth shut hard for fear of sounding offensive or ignorant or naive, but the way they’re looking at me so patiently, and with such kindness, and with that spark ofheatin their eyes—I know that I’m not.

They’relovingthis.

“We’re swingers, but some people here are poly,” Cassius explains.

“Poly?” I ask.

“Polyamorous. People who you have meaningful relationships with multiple people at the same time, and it’s not just sex or just friendship and sex,” Aaron says.

“People who are poly want to love and feel loved by anyone,” Cassius says, taking a drink of his drink. “They have big hearts, you can definitely say that.”

“But y’all aren’t that.”

“No. We tried that.” Aaron cringes slightly, his face puckering. Cassius looks at him, lovingly, and Aaron gives a reassuring squeeze to his knee.

“We got into a drama situation and it wasn’t good,” Cassius tacks on.

“I can see how that might happen.” I can see infinity ways that might happen, actually.

“It’s not impossible to make it work. But that’s why our main rule is to stay drama-free. We like sex. We like sex with other people. We like watching each other have sex.”

“Nodrama,” Cassius echoes the sentiment pointedly.

“We start to feel drama, we cut you out.”

“Fair enough. So swingers want…just sex with other couples?”

“Basically. Everyone’s looking for what they’re looking for,” Aaron says, profoundly. Lance and I trade a look and I crack a smile. “So you have to talk about it with people, before, during, be open, be honest.”

I smile at the men. “I like it.”

Finally, Lance hands me back my mimosa. I take it and smile at him gratefully. Yep, I amsookay with him babysitting my alcohol intake. He’s like a big brother, taking care of me. And like a sex god, takingcareof me. Hopefully. I mean we’ll see.

The glass is half-full and as I hand it back over to Lance, I notice his other hand has moved over to Cassius’s other leg. Cassius presses in closer to him, his fingers toying with the little hairs on the back of Lance’s head. I never thought I could get jealous in this situation, but there it is, a twinge of green curling up the base of my spine.

And I’m not saying it’s not hot.

“So what do you guys want?” I ask, mostly pointing my question at Cassius.

“Well, we noticed him right away”—he flicks his pretty eyes toward Lance—“and then we sawyou.”

“You’d make a hot unicorn,” Aaron says, his voice low and brusque. Mmm.

“Unicorn?” On instinct I look up at Lance with my question. He whispers the answer into my ear.

“What about a couple, and a guy?” I ask, remembering his porn earlier today. Holy schnikey. Was that justtoday?

“When it’s a guy, it’s called a bull.”

“That’s what we need to find for you,” Lance murmurs in a low, sultry tone, his hot mouth pressed against my ear. I can’t help it, I tilt my face toward his and smack a soft kiss right to his lips.
