“All right, enough of that,” she says. I watch the blush creep up her cheeks.

“I just tell it like it is,” I say, pulling the door shut behind me.

She ignores me, walking ahead of me, trying to get away from me as quickly as she can.

“Stop staring at my ass,” she says, making me laugh.

“I couldn’t even if I tried.” I chuckle.

She glares over her shoulder in my direction. “Cole,” she warns.

“Holy shit, Charlie,” Tyler says, looking her up and down.

I don’t know why, but all of a sudden, I want to wrap my hands around his fucking throat.

“She’s hot, right?” Cam says, sliding up next to her, putting her arm through hers.

“Okay, that’s enough. Let’s go,” Charlie says, clearly uncomfortable with the attention.

“If you were trying to be discreet tonight, this was not the way to go. You look fucking amazing,” Tyler gushes, again.

I wonder if he’d cry if I put my fist through his face tonight.

“All right, down boy,” Cam says, laughing.

Once we’re in the car, it’s all I can do not to put my hands all over Charlie. Jesus Christ, I have to get a grip. This is my baby sister’s best friend. I’ve been around this girl my whole life. I could pull any girl from anywhere.

“You good, man?” Tyler leans over to ask low enough for only me to hear.

“Yeah, I’m good.”

“I can see the wheels turning in your head. Your sister would be pissed, but I think it would be worth it to get into bed with that one.” He smirks, nodding in Charlie’s direction.

“Fuck off, Tyler,” I growl.

He laughs, leaning back in his seat. “That’s what I thought. You got it bad, dude.”

“I don’t get wrapped up in women.” I scoff.

“Well, you better find someone else to take home tonight before you get in too deep with that one,” he says, nodding his head in her direction.

Tyler is delusional if he thinks I’m caught up in Charlie. I like to fuck with her, but that’s it. I’m not interested in her like that. Sure, she’s fucking hot, but that doesn’t mean I want to change my ways and date the girl. She’s off limits.

We pull up to the club and I can hear the music spilling from the open doors. There’s a line to get inside, but we won’t have to wait in it. That’s another perk to having money. You grow accustomed to these things. I’ve never had to wait in line for anything.

“Let’s dance!” Cam yells over the music, grabbing Charlie's hand.

Tyler and I walk upstairs to one of the few VIP booths. We have a clear view of the dance floor, which is what I wanted. I’ll have to keep my eye on the girls, especially Cam. Trouble finds her everywhere she goes.

“You not going out there?” Tyler asks, taking our drinks from the waitress.

“Not yet. I wanna keep an eye on Cam.”

“Sure.” He grins over his glass, taking a drink.

“You’re a fucking idiot.” I grab my beer, putting the cool bottle to my lips.

I let my eyes drift to the dance floor. My sister and Charlie are dancing together, and most of the eyes in here are definitely on them.
