“What kind of boat did you rent?”

“She rented a fucking yacht.” Tyler laughs.

“Why the fuck would you rent a yacht for just the four of us?” I ask.

“It’s not just the four of us. I invited Chad and his brother, James. Tyler invited the girls you had over last night.” She shrugs.

I’m fucking fuming, but I can’t say anything or act on it. Everyone in this room will know I’m losing my shit if I do.

“Come on. They’re supposed to meet us at the dock.” Cam grabs her bag from the floor, flinging it over her shoulder.

Charlie stands off to the side, looking right at me. She’s got a smirk on her face. I get it now.

“I know what you’re doing, princess. Two can play this game, and I’ll tell you right now I’m a better player.” I lean down, whispering in her ear before walking outside.

“We’ll see, won’t we? You’ve never played the game with me,” she says, smirking.

Twenty minutes later, we pull up to the dock. I see Sasha and her friend, plus the two douchebags standing in the parking lot.

I can’t believe Tyler invited this chick without asking me if I had any interest in seeing her again. He fucking knows better.

“You’re fucking dead,” I whisper under my breath at him.

“She’s fucking hot, dude.” He throws his hands up.

“That doesn’t mean I had any intentions of seeing her again. You know damn good and well it’s harder to get rid of a chick if you keep stringing her along.”

“It’s easy pussy, man. Live a little. It’s not like you’ve got to marry the chick.” He shrugs.

I catch Charlie out of the corner of my eye to see she’s throwing her arms around that dick’s head. He whispers something in her ear, she laughs, and brings her lips to his.

I did not sign up for this shit.

The yacht Cam rented is extravagant. It’s got to be over seventy feet. My sister is used to the finer things in life, and that is obvious with her choice. We could have easily just rented a normal boat, but no, here we are with the biggest fucking yacht at the dock.

“I rented it for a few days. I figure after we go to the club tonight, we can go back out and spend the night. Isn’t it amazing?” Cam gushes, walking up next to me.

“It’s a little excessive. What do we need to spend the night on a yacht for when we have one of the nicest houses on the beach?” I point out.

“A change of scenery? I don’t know. I’m trying to make sure we enjoy the trip.” I hint a bit of sadness in her voice, but feelings aren’t something that we share freely in our family.

“Whatever you say,” I tell her.

“This is amazing,” Sasha says, linking her arm with mine.

I try not to grimace. Tyler isn’t wrong, she is hot, but I didn’t have any intentions of ever seeing her again. The thought crossed my mind, but I squashed it just as quickly as it came.

I glance around the dock when we climb onboard. The top deck has several large couches and tables and a bar, complete with its own bartender.

“The yacht has a fully stocked kitchen, dining room, and living room. There are five bedrooms, all with full baths. On the bottom floor you’ll find a unique view of the water and an additional sitting room. On the top deck, opposite end of the boat, there is a pool and hot tub for your enjoyment. There is plenty of space, it won’t even feel like you’re here with anyone if that’s how you want it,” the captain tells us, walking us around for a short tour.

“I figured you had money, based on the house you brought me back to, but I didn’t know you wererichrich.” Sasha leans down, whispering in my ear.

Oh, here we go. I knew there was something about her that rubbed me the wrong way. She’s after money. I can see the dollar signs in her eyes now.

I don’t respond, afraid that I’ll tell her exactly what I’m feeling right now.

I need a fucking drink.
