“Seriously, Cam?” I roll my eyes, leaning back in the car seat.

My eyes drift to Cole and his hard demeanor. He might mean well, but he really did ruin a perfectly good night. I was having a good conversation with Todd. I never find anyone interesting to talk to at these parties.

“I’d like to let Tyler put his hands on me,” Cam whispers in my ear.

“Your brother would kill you and Tyler.” My eyes go wide, thinking about how pissed Cole would be if Tyler touched his baby sister.

“So?” She shrugs.

“You’re insane.”

“I will kill this bitch.” My head turns towards Cam.

“Whoa, who are you talking about?”

“Heather just texted me. She told me that Tabby has been gushing about a guy all night. Turns out that guy is Cole.”

Tabby Sinclair. I hate that bitch. She and Cam are friends, and I can’t for the life of me figure out why. Tabby is a backstabbing whore. She sleeps with everyone’s boyfriends, and then acts innocent and denies it. I’ve caught her in more than one compromising situation.

“Don’t these bitches know my brother is off limits?” Cam is pissed.

If there’s one thing you should know about Cam, it’s that she is fiercely protective of her brother. She might act like he annoys her, but she would do anything for him. When we got to eighth grade, she sat her entire group of friends down and let it be known that Cole is off limits.

We aren’t to look at him, touch him, or even think about him. That’s the ultimate betrayal to Cam.

“What are you going to do?” I ask.

“As soon as we get home, I’m calling her. This bitch needs to be knocked down a peg or two.”

Tabby is new to our friend group. She just moved into town this year. She probably hadn’t even seen Cole before tonight. I briefly consider mentioning that to Cam but change my mind.

Cam is still seething when we pull into her driveway. She flies out of the car, phone in hand, already dialing Tabby’s number. The boys look back and forth between each other, clearly confused.

“What’s going on there?” Tyler asks.

“Girl drama.” I wave my hand nonchalantly.

“You girls are fucking crazy.” Tyler laughs, following Cam into the house.

“Is she okay?” Cole asks.

“Yep.” I push past him to get inside. I’m still pretty irritated that he interrupted my night.

“Todd Breaker is a tool,” Cole says, before I make it to the door.

“I don’t recall asking you.” I turn around to face him, hands on my hips.

“I’m just warning you.” He shrugs.

“Isn’t that like the pot calling the kettle black?”

“Fuck off, Charlie.” He’s pissed, but I’m not really sure why.

“You’re a psycho.” I turn around, twisting the doorknob, walking inside.

I can hear Cam laying into Tabby from all the way upstairs. This should be an interesting night.

I walk upstairs, drop my purse, and change into a pair of spandex shorts and an oversized T-shirt, before heading downstairs to find a snack. I don’t really feel like listening to Cameron bitch Tabby out for the next hour.
