“You have got to be fucking kidding me right now!” I hear my sister’s voice between us.

“Cam,” I warn, pulling away from Charlie.

“Shut the fuck up, Cole,” she says, putting her hand up in my face.

“Cameron. You don’t understand,” Charlie says, tears falling down her face.

“You’re a fucking bitch. The worst kind of person. This is why you haven’t been hanging out with me, right? You’ve been fucking my brother.”

She’s got a crazed look in her eyes.

“Cameron. That's enough,” I say, stepping between them.

“Choose. Right now,” she says, and I look at her confused.

“What?”

“Me or the fucking whore,” she says, gesturing between me and Charlie.

She can’t be serious.

“Don’t, Cole. I’ll make it easy for you. I’m leaving,” Charlie says softly, stepping around us.

“I’ll ruin you. You’re fucking dead to me,” Cam seethes.

“CAM! That’s enough!” I roar, causing Charlie to stop walking and Cam to direct her attention towards me.

“Excuse me?” My sister says.

“I said, that’s enough. You don’t get to speak to her like that.”

“I’ll speak to her however I want to. She’s nothing but a whore.” Cam seethes, waving her hand in Charlie’s direction.

Charlie doesn’t say anything. I know it’s not because she doesn’t want to speak up for herself, but because she feels like Cam has every right to be angry with her.

“Cole, I appreciate you sticking up for me, but don’t. She’s allowed to be angry with me.” Charlie says.

“Don’t do this, princess.” I say, walking towards her, but she steps to the side, walking towards the door.

“It’s for the best, trust me.” She says.

I watch the girl I love walk out of my life.

Chapter Twenty-One

CHARLOTTE

It’s bittersweet to think that I once had it all. I had the best friend a girl could ask for. I didn’t have a worry in the world. Life was amazing.

Now my life is ruined. Let’s be honest, it was on track to be ruined in the next several months anyway. This just sped up the inevitable.

“She’s a fucking whore!” I hear Cam shouting behind me, causing everyone at the party to pause and stare.

I run out of the house, down towards the street. I obviously can’t ask anyone for a ride.

I don’t know how long I’ve been walking, when someone pulls up next to me.

“Get in.” I look over at Tyler.
