Turning towards Kalani and Maeve at her side, she handed off her bouquet of flowers, leaving her hands open for each of us to grab when the time came. I noticed the small photo poking out of her dress, an image of a memory she had created, I knew Halley had her mother close on this day.

“Thank you all for joining us on this day. Today we are here to celebrate the marriage of the woman and four men standing before us.” Knox’s father spoke, officiating the ceremony.

“I have been told that each man has written their own vows.”

Gesturing to us, Madden stepped forward first. We hadn’t cared who had gone first, knowing we would all get the opportunity to love our girl, and so we had decided to go in order of how we had met.

The gruff man stepped forward, rubbing a hand over his stubble, and I was thankful we had kept the ceremony small. Even though I didn’t have trouble expressing my words in front of thousands, I knew this would make the moment easier for those that did.

“Sweetheart, you came into my life and lit it ablaze.” Madden spoke, grasping Halley’s hands in his. “I knew you were special, but I never could have guessed how much you would change my life. I’ll love you in this realm and the next.”

Finishing his words, Halley slipped a large band onto his finger, the first tears falling from her eyes. Madden slipped a small band on hers, a specific ring we had all picked out so that she could wear four in a stacking order, representing us each.

I was next and I took my place in front of her, holding her hands tight to my chest before I spoke.

“Halls, you’re the best friend I have ever had. I promise to bring joy into your life for the rest of my days. I love you so much and I am honored you have chosen to be my wife.”

We exchanged our rings, Halley squeezing my fingers once more before I stepped back.

Wilder stepped forward next, flashing forward and stealing a kiss before we had even realized he moved. Laughter floated throughout the small crowd at his gesture.

“You may be the queen, but you will forever by my princess. I promise to love you for eternity, bringing a smile to your face every morning.”

As he finished his sentence, he patted his chest, where I knew the photo of his father sat. Their rings were placed and then Knox was up.

“You are the strongest woman I know and I wake up every day wondering how I was lucky enough to find you. You have made us all better men and I will continue to strive to be the best man for you, the man you deserve. I love you, Halley Jameson.”

Slipping on her last ring, Hank recited the final words.

“I now pronounce you married. You may kiss your bride.”

Wilder flashed forward once more, the first to seal his lips against hers. Her back arched as he swung her into a dip, biting at her lips before moving away.

Knox grabbed her hips next, molding their mouths together in a sensual away before he pulled back, laying one more kiss to her forehead.

Madden slipped into the empty space, tangling her curls in his fist, deepening the kiss before letting go.

And then I stepped forward, sealing her lips with mine. My wife. My forever. My Enchantress.

I paced the length of the floor, constantly brushing against one of the others, the room much too small for four large frames. But none of us could sit still.

“Please, stop pacing.” Halley called out; her eyes squeezed shut in pain.

Madden rushed over to her side, running his hands over her body as if he could take the pain away. However, there was nothing we could do, hence the pacing. We had been in the hospital for almost twelve hours now. Our little boy wanted nothing more than to take his time entering this world.

When Halley had found out she was pregnant, we had been ecstatic. We hadn’t rushed starting a family, spending the last decade growing closer together and ruling Agrum Di Vinum. But we had started wanting a family and not soon after, the first pregnancy test had shown positive.

I knew Halley wanted a large family; we had plenty of love to go around with four fathers in the picture. And this was the start of our family, the first little boy that would make me a dad.

Halley’s groans filled the room and I raced to her side, the other three following. She shooed us off, reminding us that contractions were completely normal. But none of us wanted to see her in pain.

In the next moment, the doctor walked through the doors, pushing us all out of the way to reach Halley. Checking her out, she turned to address the whole room, clapping her hands.

“Alright everyone, I think it’s time to push. Mom, you ready to meet your baby?”

Halley’s eyes started tearing and she nodded hurriedly. Splitting into sides, Eli and I took up the left, while Madden and Wilder took up the right, allowing her to grip her hands as she began to push. Sweat dotted her forehead, her skin clammy, her hair wild, and yet I had never seen her look more beautiful.
