I let out an involuntary scream at the sound of a strange man’s voice in my boyfriend’s bedroom. My terrified gaze collides with the prettiest shade of green eyes I’ve ever seen.

They burn with calm intensity and carnal lust.

I didn’t know this color of eyes even existed in real life. So unfair that I have the most boring shade of all… Brown.

Focus, Bianca. Stop drooling over a strange man’s features.

“Hmm… That’s not quite how I like to make a sexy girl scream.” His lips tilt as he teases me.

“Who the fuck are you?” I yell, once I find my voice.

Oh my god. I’m not in the wrong house, am I? Or is he a burglar or something?

Since when did thieves become so hot and had green eyes like a deep dark forest? They are supposed to be scary and ugly. They most certainly don’t flirt with their victims before looting them.

He does give off scary vibes, though.

I can feel the dark energy radiating from the way he stands tall with his arms crossed. Even his features are dangerously handsome, from his closed cropped hair that brings out the sharp angles of his face. His eyebrows slash over his eyes as he keeps them pinned on mine.

He’s dressed nicely too in a black button-down shirt. The top buttons undone, exposing his upper abs while wearing washed-up blue denim jeans. Damn. He’s built with thick muscles and I can tell he’s older than me.

Jesus, Bianca. Stop checking him out.

His mouth tugs to the side like he can read my thoughts.

“Get out of the house before I call the police,” I threaten while trying to remain strong and alert.

I wish I had something to defend myself against him, but I also can’t look away. He’ll probably use it to his advantage. God! Where the hell is Niall?

My words don’t penetrate the intimidating man as he stays rooted to the same spot. His amused gaze, which I can somehow see despite the blank expression on his face, drops lower. I follow the direction of his eyes and realize embarrassingly that I’m still in my fucking see-through lingerie.

“Hey! Stop staring...”

I wrap my arms around my breasts and cross my legs while searching for something to cover myself with. The effort is futile because it only pushes my breasts together teasingly and I’ve never hated the size of them until now.

He, on the other hand, is completely unashamed as he runs his hot gaze all over my body. Like he has every right. Like I belong to him.

Don’t know why I expected a burglar would have manners.

“Why should I, sneaky girl? You obviously wore it for me. You’re standing inmybedroom. I can see you used my shower too,” he arrogantly taunts. “I’ll admit, it’s kinda stalkerish but somehow I can’t seem to mind. The scared and blushing act is a turn-on too. Who knew I’d have a thing for crazy stalker girls?”

Is he delusional or a psycho? Definitely both. And I’m fucked either way.

“Are you insane?” I reply angrily. “And I’m not blushing.”

“You’re naked and I can see the flush on your skin, kitten.” His tone is deep, close to a growl, making goosebumps rise on my skin.

Maybe I should just run before he goes full-blown psycho.

He strides forward stealthily as I’m plotting my escape plan. He’s halfway near me when I notice and take a step back, only to collide with the wall behind me. His woodsy scent envelops me as he rests his hands on either side of my frame.

Of course, he’s got height on me too as if his hulking frame wasn’t enough. I tilt my head to stare at him while my heart thunders both in fear and something else I don’t want to name.

“Get away from me.”

He arches his perfect eyebrow at my snarky tone. “Should you even be making demands, sneaky little girl?”

“You’re the one trespassing on someone else’s property.”
