When I’d asked Declan and Thomas how they knew with Alex, they said it was innate—something inside of them called to her. They knew they couldn’t live a day without her by their side. Finding Tori and knowing she understood and accepted this lifestyle helped solidify she was the ideal woman for us. She, most of all, would understand the need to be a cohesive unit.

We finished our dinners, and already I itched to touch her. To hold her hand, to feel her in my arms. The kiss we shared at the beginning of the evening was a tease. I wanted more.

“Do you want to go for a walk?” Caleb asked Tori after it seemed like we’d been sitting with empty plates for far too long. He was on the same wavelength as me. As always.

Tori nodded and stood. Once I reached her side, my fingers laced with hers, and I led her toward the barns. The sun had almost fully set, and the half-moon cast a low light on everything. Only a few feet outside the hall, Tori stopped and looked behind us. Her searching gaze only stopped when it landed on Caleb. He’d fallen in step behind us. With a gentle smile, she extended her other hand to him. A warm feeling tugged at my chest when he accepted her hand, stepping beside us.

The three of us together felt right.

We walked the long way around the barns, coming up around the far side and slipping past the paddocks. Horses nickered at us, curious who was nearby and if they were getting any treats. The silence settling around us felt natural. There was no pressure or need to fill it. I squeezed Tori’s hand as we came to the spot where the new office would be built.

“This is where the office will be added,” I explained.

“It’ll extend out to the edge of the paddocks so there won’t be any wasted space, and it won’t stick out and get in the way,” Caleb added.

Tori let go of my hand and snuggled into Caleb’s side. “I love how excited you both sound about this.”

My spine straightened with pride. “We might know Thomas and Declan well, and we know they’re excited to have us here, but it’s good to know they’re taking our ideas seriously.”

She nodded. “It’s important to know your bosses trust you.”

I loved how perceptive she was. Caleb and I always felt like we had to prove ourselves. And together we were unstoppable. Having the opportunity to work on the ranch was a golden opportunity we didn’t take lightly.

“It is.” Caleb tucked Tori in closer to his body.

After a few moments of silence, Tori spoke up. “So, I take it you’ve always been the quiet, creative type. And Andrew’s been more outgoing of the two of you?”

It was then I realized she never hesitated when addressing either of us. It was like she knew who we were already. Most people who met us tried to find the physical characteristics that differed from each other. We were used to people not bothering to figure out who was who. Only people who knew us well learned the deeper things.

“Is that how you could tell us apart?” I asked.

Tori released Caleb and stood in front of me. “Maybe.” She lifted her shoulder. “Your personalities are different.”

I lifted her chin with the tip of my finger and captured her beautiful, pale blue eyes.

“I want to know what other ways there are to tell you apart. In a few days, it might not be as obvious as it is to me right now. Or when I see you alone, I might not be able to tell.” A crease appeared between her eyebrows. It was adorable. I wanted to smooth it away and make sure it didn’t return.

“There are a few ways to tell us apart by looking at us, but there are more ways to tell that you can’t see unless we’re alone.” I winked.

“Oh, Andrew.” She shook her head and playfully rolled her eyes. My name danced off her tongue with her unique accent. This one was so much better than the fake accent she’d used when we first met. This one was sexy enough to send a zing straight to my cock with every word she spoke.

I brushed my lips over hers. A fire burned through my body at the touch. I’d never felt like this when I kissed someone before. She placed her palm on my chest, and her fingers slowly fisted my shirt to pull me closer. Her mouth pressed firmly to mine, and I wrapped my arms around her. Hugging her close, I shuddered at the feel of her silky skin against the palm of my hands. I wanted to run my hands over every inch of her delectable body.

My roaming hands toyed with the hem of her dress, my palms rubbing at the back of her thighs, wanting to go higher.

Her breath hitched, and a whispered plea gave me permission to move higher.

I inched her dress up, little by little, loving how her body trembled. I tugged her against me, grinding my hardened cock along her lower abdomen. I wanted her to know what she did to me.

She gasped and angled her hips. I dove my tongue into her open mouth to duel with hers. I squeezed each round globe and lifted her higher. She instantly wrapped her legs around my waist.

Caleb appeared behind her, kissing along her neck and shoulders, caging her between us. Breaking our kiss, Tori rolled her head to the side and leaned into Caleb’s embrace. Her long neck was too tempting. His hand replaced mine, grabbing her ass and roaming her sides while I pushed the thin strap of her sundress off her shoulder. My lips traveled from one shoulder to the other, following the line of her collarbone.

Her moans were almost drowned out by the music from the cicadas, but they grew louder when Caleb thrust his no doubt rock-hard cock against her ass. Tori released my shirt, and I saw her hand disappear behind her. She didn’t know what was coming. Caleb may be quiet in public, but he was anything but in the bedroom.

I let Tori slide down the front of me, enjoying her moan of displeasure at me placing her on her feet. Caleb spun her around, grabbed Tori’s chin, and brought her lips to his. I took a step away to allow them a moment alone. He dropped his hand and squeezed her ass his in palms, pushing the lower half of her body into his. In the low light, I could tell Caleb was holding back. He was being too gentle. He often did when he was with a woman. He had a rougher side to him he rarely let out. I had to wonder if being with Tori would make him lose his finely tuned control. If she would be what made him snap.

When Tori’s fingers ran along his scalp and tugged on his hair, Caleb’s willpower broke. A shudder ran through his body, and between one second and the next, Caleb picked Tori up and turned them around. He had her against the side of the barn, his hand behind her head, shielding it from hitting the wall. A low animalistic sound radiated from him, and he claimed her mouth in a searing kiss, cutting off her low laughter of amusement.
