“He’s parking,” I said with a smile. “He dropped me off.”

“That was so sweet of him.”

“Yeah, I guess so.” My phone beeped. “Oh, it’s Polly and Chelsea. They should be here in a couple of minutes.”

“Yay,” Molly said. “We’re going to have so much fun.”

“I know,” I said. “I am really grateful that Finn asked me to invite you all.”

“Yeah, me too,” Molly said. “I can’t believe he invited Delilah as well.”

“Me too.” I laughed. “I was kind of glad when she said she couldn’t come.”

“I know. She would’ve been just trying to hog all the attention for herself.” Molly pouted her lips. “Do I need to put on more lipstick?”

“No, I think you’re fine.”

“What about eyeliner? Is it dramatic enough?”

“You look fine. I don’t understand. Are you hoping to meet someone or…”

“I told you. Just in case Finn is looking to make a movie, I want him to consider me for the lead role.”

I just stared at her. “Molly.”

“What?” she said. “I’m just saying. I still think there could be a possibility that…”

“Hey, girls,” Chelsea sang out, and I thanked the Lord that she had arrived when she had. I loved Molly, but sometimes she was one-track minded, and it could be really annoying.

“Hey, sis,” I said as I turned around and gave her a big hug. She was wearing a cute white dress that flattered her figure. “How are you?”

“Good. And you?”

“I’m good,” I said. “Where’s Polly?”

“She’s parking.”

“Oh, like Finn.”

“I was about to ask where he was,” she said. “Hey, Molly.”

“Hey, Chelsea. How are things?”

“Good. You?”

“Still trying to get my lucky break,” Molly said with a slight sigh. “But who knows? Today might be the day.” I tried not to roll my eyes.

“You’re looking really pretty today, Harriet,” Chelsea said as she looked me up and down. I was wearing my white denim shorts and a cute, flowery top that emphasized my boobs.

“I know. You’re looking kind of hot,” Molly said. “I guess it’s because of that boss of yours.”

“Oh, so Harriet told you that she’s got a thing with her boss.” Chelsea looked over at Molly and grinned.

“Yeah. I mean, I was there when they first met, and the sparks were flying for sure,” Molly said. “I’m just surprised that Harriet decided to work for him.”

“I’m surprised that she got the job and kept it,” Chelsea said.

“I guess Harriet knows what she’s working with.” Molly winked, and I groaned.
