He sighed and flipped back the top of the box. “I will be. It’s just that I want all of your time, Lennox. I missed it for three years, and I’m not lying when I say I want every second of your time.”

That was intense, but I also understood it.

I wanted the same thing.

“We’ll just keep the door locked,” I suggested.

Jonas laughed. “Everyone has the key, babe. They’re just not coming over right now because I told Meg and King that they needed to give us at least twenty-four hours.”

“Maybe they’ll give us more than that,” I suggested.

“Oh, Lennox,” he sighed. He turned to me and grabbed my hand. “I know I told you the club is pretty much in your face all the time, but I don’t think you really understand what I’m saying.” He wrapped his arms around me and pulled me flush against him. He pressed his forehead to mine, and our eyes connected. “We very literally have maybe twelve hours before Meg uses her key and is in this kitchen cooking lunch and asking you every question she can think of.”

“Really?” I whispered. That was a little bit overwhelming.

“Yes, babe. Now do you see why I’m a little irritated that Reva came over? She just stole five of my minutes I have with you.”

“We’re counting the minutes?” I asked.

“I’ve been counting the minutes down since that first letter, Lennox. I’m not kidding when I say I want every second you’ll give me.”

“Every second,” I whispered.

Jonas nodded and leaned in. “And I can’t go another second without knowing what your lips feel like against mine.”

“Okay,” I whispered. I had wanted to know the same thing too.

He closed the distance between us, and his lips brushed against mine. The kiss was soft and tender, but it promised so much more. Time seemed to stand still as we explored the contours of each other's lips. The taste of his breath and the warmth of his mouth was intoxicating. I could feel his heart beating alongside mine, a rhythm that synchronized in perfect harmony. The world around us ceased to exist as I lost myself in our first kiss.

I felt a wave of vulnerability wash over me. I had waited years for this, and it was more than I could have ever imagined.

Kissing Jonas was the top of the roller coaster I had been climbing for three years.

With each brush of our lips, I could taste the sweetness of the moment, the mingling of our lust in a perfect blend.

His breath intertwined with mine, creating an intoxicating rhythm.

With each brush of his lips against mine, the intensity grew, fueled by a magnetic pull that drew us closer. Our tongues entwined in a sensual dance, exploring, teasing, and deepening our connection.

As I reluctantly pulled away, a soft sigh escaped my lips. “Jonas.”

A growl ripped from his mouth, and his eyes drifted open. “More.”
