“If you tip your head to the side, it is not crooked.” Cyn messed with a machine next to her and held her hand in the air. “Mirrored!”

“Yay,” Greta called. “Now, just keep remembering to mirror, and you’ll be golden.”

“Why are you guys starting yet another business?” Rigid asked. “We’re supposed to be getting old–.”

“Vintage,” Meg interrupted.

Rigid rolled his eyes. “We’re supposed to be gettingvintageand enjoying our lives, not starting new businesses and being so busy that I can’t even spend time with my wife.”

“Mirrored!” Cyn called.

“Are you going to do that every time you cut a design?” Reva laughed.

“If that’s the only way I can remember to mirror, then yes, I am.” Cyn punched a button and watched the machine move around. “It’s kind of mesmerizing.”

“Wife,” Rigid called. “Did you hear that I want to spend time with you?”

“We’re with each other right now, Rigid, so I don’t know what you are complaining about.” Cyn sat back in her chair and smiled. “T-shirt time is now our together time.”

“You think we can have private time over at Pole Stars later?” Rigid asked.

“Stop it,” Hero called. “You two are not allowed to talk about,” he waved his hand in the air, “that.”

Cyn winked at Rigid. “Give me ten minutes, handsome. I’ve got five moreSass and Assshirts to cut, and then I am all yours for the rest of the day.”

“You guys do know that Indy has classes going on over there today, right?” Luna called. “You can’t be doing your hanky panky at Pole Stars.”

“Yeah, we can because I reserved one of the private rooms.” Rigid ran his fingers through his hair and handed Gwen a fifty.

“I don’t have any change.” Gwen tucked the fifty in her pocket and pulled the cape off of Rigid.

“Then I guess I’m paid up for the next ten haircuts.” He stood and glanced at himself in the mirror. “You’re up, Lenny.”

Lennox patted her pockets. “Oh, uh, I don’t really have any money on me right now.”

“Get over here,” Gwen called. “I only charge Rigid because he’s a meathead who insists on paying me, but he normally only gives me five bucks. It’s kind of an insult which is why I normally cut his back crooked.”

“What?” Rigid growled. He turned to the mirror and tried to look at the back of his head. “Is it really crooked?” he demanded.

“I’m sure if you tip your head to the side, it’s straight,” Meg laughed.

“Gwen,” Rigid hollered.

“Mirrored!” Cyn called.

“Mirror lady, take your man over to Pole Stars before he grabs Mom’s scissors and stabs her,” Greta called. “He’s had crooked hair for years and never knew.”

Luna reached behind the bar and grabbed the bottle of rum. “I thought he liked it that way,” she muttered.

“Are you shitting me?” Rigid yelled.

Cyn got out of her mirror stupor and finally looked at Rigid. “What’s wrong?”

“Let’s go,” Rigid growled.

Cyn looked around but jumped up. “The last five are cutting. Just rip them off the mat when they are done, okay? I need to go calm the blue-haired beast.”

“Is that what you call it?” Luna asked. “I mean, is it blue down there, too?”
