“Maybe not tonight, but eventually.”

I quirked a brow.

That green-eyed gaze raked over me. “There’s a pretty good chance we’ll be alone together at some point.”

Of course there was. But the reality of it still made my breath catch in my throat. His lips on mine. Those big, rough hands on my bare skin. His…

“How about charades?” Bibi suggested, bringing me back from my bear-fueled fantasy. “It’s always so much fun. I’ll be the emcee.”

Tina laughed. “If you can’t go out to drag night, bring drag night to you.”

“Every night is drag night around here. But it’s not about me. It’s about Marissa and Bjorn.” Bibi handed a pile of cards to Tina and another to Stephanie. “Help me come up with clues for our couple.”

My mouth dropped. “It’s just the two of us playing?”

“You two are the ones who need to get to know each other.” Bibi waggled her brows. “This is going to be so much fun.”

Tina and Stephanie returned their cards to Bibi, and Bjorn and I shared a look. His lips were pressed together, and he was trying not to laugh.

Bibi rose. She was taking this seriously. “Who wants to go first?”

“Bjorn does.”

Bibi’s lips curled into a wicked smile, and she crooked her finger at him. He went over and chuckled when he looked at the card.

He held up two fingers.

“Two words. Got it.”

Then he brought his hands up to his head and circled it. I glanced back at Bibi, who was just as puzzled as I was.

“Angel?” Maybe he was trying to signal a halo…I wasn’t sure.

“That’s one word,” Tina said.

He shook his head.

He brought his hands to his lips just for a moment and moved them away, rubbing his fingertips together.

“Makeup Artist?”

“Is that three words?” Tina asked as I gave her side-eye.

His face lit up, and he wrapped his arms around himself and swayed back and forth from side to side.

“Mom who’s really tired and just wants her kid to go to bed?”

He shook his head and burst into laughter. “That’s way too many words.”

“I give up.”

“I thought that was a very good depiction of a French kiss,” Bibi said. “Marissa, I hope you’ll be able to come up with something good because Bjorn has taken the early lead.”

She handed me a card. Hiccups. Really?

I held up one finger, and Bjorn nodded. His gaze was fixed on me, waiting for my next move. I made the mistake of looking into those green eyes. My throat wasn’t the body part that was fluttering.

Focus.
